FLAME
I stare at her as she lay there on the ground. Her left arm was twisted in an odd way but it wasn't something Reed couldn't fix. I sigh and put her over my shoulder before whistling. Seconds later, Griffo shows up. His red fur and feathers that matched my hair were as spiked as Snowball's. His dark orange beak opens and lets out a screech like an eagle before he lands in front of me. I pet his head before placing her on his back.
"Take her to Reed." I instruct him.
He nods and takes off into the air. I jump into the tree. Snow was right. She isn't any human. The way she handled those goblins proved it. I need to find them and make sure that there aren't any more of them. And if there are, I need to stop them before it's too late.

"She'll be okay. Just a twisted arm. Nothing I can't handle." Reed says.
I watch the flames of the green healing fire as it danced on her arm, working its magic. Reed walks out. She opens her eyes and lets out a soft groan before hastily sitting up. I could tell she was in pain but she didn't show it as she surveyed the room then her eyes land on me.
"Not you again." She grumbles.
"Nice to see you too." I roll my eyes.
It was obvious she didn't know that I had brought her here. That she had broken her arm and disintegrated two goblins at once. She looked down at her arm engulfed in the green flames.
"I'm gonna pretend that this is all normal and go home." She tells herself, making to get up.
"Where are you going?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.
"Home." She says in a duh tone then snorts.
"Well that was rather unladylike."
"I never said I was a lady." She scoffs
I roll my eyes yet again. She looks at her right hoodie sleeve where the goblins had lashed out at her and frowns at it. For the first time, she looked genuinely sad but it was gone as fast as it came. She eyed the healing fire before shrugging and walking past me toward the door. I let her be. There was no way she could find her way out of here. As soon as she walked out she jumped with a start. Griffo was seated outside the door. She gave Griffo a sceptical look before continuing her journey down the hall with me right behind her. She made tons of wrong turns but I started to doubt she was really looking for a way out. Most of the time, she would stop and study the paintings and items on the walls or tables in the hallways. Finally she got to a dead end. She just stared at the wall before turning to me. She eyed me as if she was just seeing me for the first time.
"What's your name?" she finally asks.
"Flame." I reply.
"Suits you."
She walks past me and continues exploring the building, making random turns.

It had been an hour now. She had found a bay window. She sat on the plush golden brown cushions and stared out at the starry night sky. She gently fingers the necklace around her neck. It had a golden slate and on it was the word 'Diosa' beautifully encrusted. That human gave it to her. She must really love him. She turns to me.
"Do you have a sewing kit?" she asks with hopeful eyes.
I didn't but I was sure Melody had. I gestured for her to follow me but she sat there stubbornly. I sigh and left to get it for her. I went to Melody's room. I knock on the door.
"Come in." her sing song voice rang from inside.
"Hey Mel, just wanted to borrow your sewing kit." I enter.
She eyes me disbelievingly before nodding and it comes floating across the room. I grab it from the air and mutter a quick thank you before hastily heading back to Kiana. She takes out a single needle and some black thread. She sews the tears on her hoodie and hands the kit back to me before resuming her former position.
