"YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CANT HIDE BITCH!"

The last words I remember as I was running. The fast beats of my heart, ripping through my chest. My legs, moving faster than I have ever imagined and adrenaline rushing through my veins.

I continued to run through the streets. I didn't dare look back. I could stand to look into his eyes. After all I've been through because of this assehole, I never will give him the satisfaction on knowing I was afraid.

I ran into the busy streets of town, where he wouldn't dare to attack. I knew I couldn't keep running. Wherever I go, he will find me. Whenever he finds me I will not be afraid.

I opened the door into a local café. I ordered a medium coffee, two sugars, two milk and stept aside as I waiting for my order. The place wasn't the nicest, but it have off a good vibe. It was dimly lit, filled with dark coloured chairs and decor. It was dark out, so there was no sunlight coming in. I kind of liked it, I seemed to forget about the monster chasing after me. He doesn't deserve to be called anything but a monster.

"Medium coffee, two sugars two milk," a young man said, shaking me from my thoughts.

He was a tall dark man, medium build, dark brown eyes and dark curly hair.

"Here, " I said just loud enough to hear.

His name tag read Micheal. He looked a little annoyed as he handed me my coffee. He looked a bit familiar, but I couldnt figure out where I've seen him.

"Thank you." I mumbled as I turned around to take a seat.

As I was waiting for my coffee to cool down, I kept thinking. Would he follow me home? Does he know where I am staying now? Will he be waiting for me outside the café? Will I ever be able to stop running? Will I-

"Helloo..." Micheal said sounding very annoyed.

I must have been so in my thoughts I didn't even notice him take a seat right in front of me.

"Sorry, I was not paying attention.."

"Yeah I could tell," he said smiling and less annoyed.

"I'm Micheal," he said whiles pointing to his name tag.

"Oh okay... My name is Genesis

"Thats a beautiful name for a pretty girl like you," he said smiling at me.

I looked down in my lap, feeling a bit shy. Thank God black girls don't blush, else I would be red as a tomato.

"Thank you." I replied looking up.

"Don't mention it. You look awfully familiar..." He started staring at me intensily.

I could feel his eyes burning through my skull. I took a sip of my coffee because I didn't know what to do.

"I got it! I've seen you on campus. You are in one of my lectures."

"Oh yeah, I remember you now," I said, putting together the pieces together in my head.

"It's really late out, what are you doing here by yourself..?" He looked at me puzzled, as if I was an unsolved rubic cube.

I didn't know what to say. I was shitting bricks thinking out an excuse.

"I just needed to take a walk," sounding as though I was trying to convince my self.

"Well it's pretty dark, it's not a good idea for a young lady like yourself to be walking home alone." He stated.
