As Dorean entered the room, the old man was standing, his back turned to him.

"How's the girl doing?" Spoke an old voice, with a light Russian accent.

"She's fine," The boy replied.

Dorean realized the old man has made the room darker since the last time, he'd visited. Around the room were more birds too, as if the old man was trying to scare him. Dorean couldn't be scared so easily, or at all. He had been trough too much darkness in his life.

As always, his wolf's instincts kicked in and he took in his surroundings. This exact room in the mansion looked like it had been taken out of a cabin. There were wooden walls and a fireplace. The furniture looked expensive, but that wasn't a surprise, there were some bookshelves around and most of the books were about hunting. Also the room was full of displayed animals, they're heads or whole bodies. This was obviously the hunting room, this was where the old man kept his hunted prizes. And riffles. Big riffles.

The only light was coming from the fireplace, even though the fireplace was big and could brighten up a room twice as big as this one, the shadows lurking around the old man's body dimmed the light.

"How long till she turns 21?" the old man sounded bored.

"There's still more than 2 years left" Dorean had no choice but to reply.

"I'm getting bored waiting," he said in a dangerous tone, though Dorean didn't even flinch.

As the old man turned, it's then, Dorean realized the man had something in his hand. A picture frame. With a girl, as beautiful as an angel, with the face Dorean would recognize from miles away.

"I can't wait no longer!!! LOOK AT ME!!!" the old man shouted, and threw the picture frame in the fire.
