Secret Singer (Infinite Fanfic)

Ch. 4

 Myungsoo's POV

 Sungjong and I walked to class. Before we went in, I pulled him aside.

 "Why did you invite her to lunch?" I asked.

 "Because she's a nice girl," he answered.

 "But we just met her."

 "She's different. She didn't scream or freak out when we talked to her. She's not like the other girls around here. Now come on! We gotta get in our seats!"

 Sungjong went into the classroom and sat in his desk. I sat in my usual desk which was in the back and stared outside. I didn't even pay attention to the lesson. I was thinking about that girl Suah. Sungjong is right. She didn't scream or spazz. She was normal. Maybe she's pretending. She's probably screaming and feeling happy about having lunch with us right now.

 Suah's POV

 No way I'm happy to eat lunch with Infinite! I'm really scared. They're stars and I'm a normal girl! I might say something stupid! So I made a plan to escape this lunch thing with Infinite. I'll just run and hide till lunch is over. 

 When class was done, I was the last on to leave. I peeked outside the window into the hallway. I saw Infinite standing near the lockers. They were talking and laughing. Now was my chance to run. I quietly went out of the classroom. I tried to blend in with the other students walking, but I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Sungjong smiling.

 "Where are you going?" he asked.

 "Uh.......," I replied.

 "Let's go!"

 Sungjong then brought me to the rest of Infinite. They all smiled and waved except Myungsoo.

 "What are we waiting for? Let's eat lunch!" Dongwoo exclaimed.

 We walked into the caffeteria. Everyone looked at us. All the girls gave me envious looks. When we reached the table, we all sat down. I sat in the middle with Sungjong to my right and Woohyun to my left. Sungyeol and Sunggyu were across from me. Myungsoo was on the side of Woohyun. Dongwoo was on the side of Sunggyu. Lastly Hoya was next to Sungjong. Girls passed by and winked at Myungsoo. But Myungsoo ignored and them. Everyone was talking, but I sat there quietly. 

 "Suah, what do you like to do?" Sungjong asked.

 "I like to sing and play guitar," I answered.

 "Oh! Just like Myungsoo!" Dongwoo exclaimed.

 "I'm gonna get something to drink," Myungsoo said.

 He left the table. The Infinite members started talking to me. We got to know each other a lot. 

 Myungsoo's POV

 "Oh! Just like Myungsoo!" Dongwoo exclaimed.

 He was right. I like playing my guitar and singing. 

 "I'm gonna get something to drink," I said.

 I left the table and went to the soda machine. I inserted my dollar and got a bottle of water. When I turned around, I saw Minji standing in front of me. She twisted her hair with her finger.

 "Hey Myungsoo," she said.

 "What?" I asked in a annoyed voice.

 "At least say 'hi'."

 "Hi. Now what?"

 "I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me?"

 "Hm. Let me think. NO."

 "WHAT?! WHY!"

 "Cause I don't like you. Now excuse me."

 I pushed her aside and walked to my table.

 "You will regret saying that, Myungsoo!" Minji yelled.

 "Tch. No I won't," I said to myself.

 When I got to the table, I saw Suah and my friends talking to each other. They were laughing and making jokes. I sat down in my seat.

 "I gotta go guys. My next class starts soon," Suah said while getting up.

 "Which class?" Sungjong asked.

 "Chemistry."

 "Just like Myungsoo!" Dongwoo exclaimed.

 "Well I don't know where this class is," Suah said.

 "Myungsoo knows. Since you guys are going to the same class maybe Myungsoo can show you the way," Sunggyu said.

 "Can you help me?" Suah asked.

 Her eyes stared into mine. She had the most beautiful brown eyes I've ever seen. Wait. What? Forget I ever said that.

 "Yeah sure," I said.

 "Ok. Now you guys get going. We'll see you after school!" Sungjong said.

 I stood up and walked out the caffeteria. Suah followed behind me. We walked together, but we didn't talk to each other. 

 Suah's POV

 We walked side by side. It was kind of awkward. When we got to the class, Myungsoo went straight to his seat. There were counters with glasses and gloves. They had coat hanging too. I sat in the very back. Then the teacher came in.

 "Time to partner up!" he exclaimed.

 Everyone got their partner. Of course girls wanted to be Myungsoo's partner. This one girl sat next to Myungsoo. So they must've became partners. I wanted him to become my partner. Oh well. No one came to me. So I sat alone in the back. Then I saw Myungsoo walking up to me. He then stood in front of me.

 "Want to be partners?" he asked.

 I looked behind Myungsoo and saw that girl who sat next Myungsoo glaring at me. I then turned back to Myungsoo.

 "What about that girl?" I asked.

 "I rejected her offer. Now do you want to be partners or not?" he asked.

 "Um......ok."

 He sat next to me. I smiled. I was partners with him! 

 Myungsoo's POV

 I actually wanted to be partners with Suah. Minji of course wanted me to be her partner, but I rejected her and went to Suah. During class Suah took down notes from the lesson. She was totally concentrated. I.....well I didn't do anything. I looked around and didn't pay attention. But then I noticed a blue notebook titled "Music Book" in Suah's stack of books beside her. It kind of looked like the one in the "Secret Singer's" video. But I pushed that thought away and knew it couldn't be Suah. I then ended up sleeping in class.
