If Friends were set in 2017

Tinder

The scene starts with Ross, Chandler, Monica, Rachel, Pheobe sitting in Central Perk.  

Joey walks in.

Joey: Hey guys!  Check out this app I just got, it's called Tinder.  

Joey holds up his phone.

Monica: Oh, I've heard of that!  Isn't it where people can-

Joey: Hey, I'm telling it!  

Joey gets mad when Monica interrupts him but quickly recovers to finish his story.

Joey: Anyways, it's a hookup app.  Now I can hook up with hot girls whenever I want!

Ross: can't you do that now?

Joey: Well, yeah, but now it's way easier.  Now, all the girls are displayed in front of me and I can just choose the best ones!  

Monica, Rachel, and Pheobe all look at Joey in disbelief.

Monica: Joey, you don't think that's a little wrong?

Joey: Why?  What's wrong with it?

Rachel: It's objectifying to women.  The way guys can just swipe past us if they're not interested.

Joey: It's not like that.  Even guys get this app.  Apparently lots of people have gotten married because of this.

The Friends all separately process of this fact.

Chandler: Maybe I should get this app.  I could meet so many girls!

Monica: And once you're done with that fantasy, are you going to jump off your horse and return to your 'loving' wife?

Chandler makes spluttering sounds and can't get out any words.

Ross: Too far man.

Joey: Way to far.

Monica glares daggers at chandler which the friends all take as warning signs to leave.

Joey: Well, I gotta go.  Need to put this app to use...

Joey gets up to exit, not being able to walk fast enough.

Ross: And I have to go polish my fossils.  

Ross freezes.

Ross: Why did I broadcast that?

Ross unfreezes and continues to leave.  Rachel catches up with Ross.

Rachel: Yeah, better not have.  

Rachel pats Ross on the back in an all knowing way.

Rachel: Anyways, I'll come with you.  I have some things to do...

Rachel cannot come up with a good excuse and just leaves.

Pheobe: Me too!

Pheobe exits.

The camera pans out, giving us one last glance at Monica, arms crossed, eyebrows raised, and Chandler smiling as to say "I'm kidding".
