Sevenscheme Epilogue

While Jihoon parents searched through his stuff in his room with sad expressions, his mom finds a book left open under his pillow. It was his music book and on the page that was open was a song for Soonyoung with music notes titled, "Don't Listen In Secret" and a letter for Soonyoung folded and put into the music book on that page. Both of his parents skim through the letter and lyrics but his mother stops half way to cry.

"Honey, I- I think Jihoon would love for us- for us to give these to him..." His dad says trembling. His mother nods in agreement with her hand over her mouth and tears flowing over.

The next day they go over to the school and was lead to Soonyoung's class. They knock on the door and the teacher opens it. They had him the music book telling him to give to turn to the 15th page and that they were Jihoon's parents. As soon as the class heard "Jihoon" and "Soonyoung" everyone looks at him while he raises his head from keeping it down in the back of the classroom. The class watches the teacher walk to the back and give him the book.

"Page 15 they said. Do you want to be excused?" The teacher asks.

"I'm fine." He says for the first time today.

He turns to the page and sees the note. He opens and reads it.

"Dear Soonyoung,

I know I upset you. I'm really sorry about that. Our relationship is so complicated I wish it wasn't anymore. You sent someone I never met before instead of yourself. I kept asking the kid questions about you haha it was so awkward. I tried to make conversation with you at lunch and you just gave me short answers. I have never seen this side of you and I don't want to see it again. You mean so much to me and I don't want to hurt you anymore. I thought about what we should do and I thought it would be great if we told everyone liked what you wanted. We can walk together in school holding hands, skip classes together and get caught cuddling by teachers, say "WE'RE DATING!" at everyone who says hi to us in the hall, get so close to each other's families that we have keys to each other's houses! We can in the future graduate together, go to the same University, graduate get the same job, buy a house, get some pets, adopt kids and live happily ever after until we die! Well, I didn't want to say the "die" part since we are so young and we should live our lives to the fullest with each other openly as a couple. Death is so far from us and I want to die with you, my love.

P.S. I wrote a song for you and recorded me playing it on my phone and put it on a flash drive. I threw it into your bag because I know you never clean it hehe. Watch it and maybe play along with me. Remember, we have a promise. Together for ever.

Soonyoung kept himself from crying loudly until he saw "Death is so far from us and i want to die with you, my love." He left the class room without permission after he couldn't bare the half loud crying he did in class. He slowly walked to the music room as he yelled, "Jihoon! Why did you leave me so soon!" When he entered the music room, there was a small class but he didn't notice or care. "Why did you leave me..." he whispered. He sat down on the piano bench and turned on the school's laptop that sat on the piano and plugged in the flash drive. He played the video.

It starts with Jihoon covering his face. "Hi... Soonyoung... I wrote you a song, okay? You should play with me, okay? Okay!"

Soonyoung plays the same time as Jihoon and the class watches him play with tears falling down his face like Niagara Falls. Jihoon sings and Soonyoung tries to sing along. The song ends and Soonyoung lowers his head. A few seconds later Jihoon yells "I love you Soonyoung" at the top of his lungs as Wonwoo and Seungcheol simultaneously walk in.

"Okay?" Seungcheol and Wonwoo chuckles.

"Okay!" Jihoon laughs so hard he almost falls off the bench "oh snap, hehe" he giggles and turns off the video.

The sight of Wonwoo and Seungcheol only bothered him the first time. The other hundred times he just watched him smile and giggle. For the first time in a while, Soonyoung smiles again.
