Falling in love can happen so fast. One minute your sitting outside your home church waiting for your mom to bring you your jacket and the next you see him. With his beautiful blue eyes and curly light brown hair tucked under his hat and a smile that kills you, literally.
Why did i leave my jacket at home? This is going to be a long weekend, i thought as i got out of my mom's Grey Dodge Ram. "Maci Grace, behave and have fun," my mom says blowing a kiss. Today was the first day of my spring break mission trip and i was kind of nervous because i didn't know how it was going to end.
As i walk inside with my bag and pillow, i watch my mom leave the driveway of the church and shiver to myself. My cousin and his snotty best friend were already in the classroom we were all meeting in.
"Hey cuz, " Kenneth says while scrolling through facebook. "Hey, can you ask my mom to bring me my jacket, i left it in the living room at home?" He says yeah and sends her a text. Not more than five minutes later she answers and says she is on her way back.
"I'm going to go wait on her," i told him, getting up out of the comfortable chair. When i get outside, i hear a loud truck pulling up in the long driveway. It was a rustic blue truck with an antenna longer then the roof of the truck.
As the guy with the cute curly hair and hat came out, his best friend Ethan Ray came out the passenger seat.
Blue eyes looked my direction and locked eyes with me. He took my breath away an i couldn't help but smile because i had a feeling he was going to be unforgettable.
