Rileys POV

We sat at the front. Sabrina had been gone for one year today and the whole world was still wondering what happened.

It was a remembrance ceremony. Tons of news crews showed up, all of Sabrina's family and the whole school we all came to remember her. She was one of the most famous teens in the world, some say it was murder, others say it was suicide. But there was one thing certain, everyone thought she was dead and that seemed enough for everyone, that was all they needed for closure even her own family but I wanted more, I wanted to know what happened. I knew it wasn't a suicide and I wanted them to pay for what they did. Deep down I kept thinking she she was still out there somewhere. If there was no evidence that's the first thing I would believe but the police found tons of blood on the rocks by the river, they said no one can loose that much blood and survive. But it was Sabrina she was different she could survive anything. Until the DNA blood test came through, I thought the police had got it all wrong but in fact it was all right.

I sometimes wondered if it was a set up, just another one of her little jokes. I could almost imagine her sitting in some huge luxury hotel somewhere just laughing at us. I imagined her to just turn up one day.

But she never did.

Me, Lucas and Farkle sat together on the first row. Sabrina's disappearance bought us close, closer than we ever thought we would be.

The whole town was invited it was 8:00pm and getting dark out but the doors were left open for anyone. Some people in our year and town pretended to be close with Sabrina just for the news attention. They even got interviews on TV, Sabrina would have killed them by now but she hasn't been here to do that.

They wouldn't even say hi to us in the hall. They were fake all of them and the only reason they acted like it was because Sabrina wasn't here to stop them. Sab's family knew that we were her only true friends from school and the only ones who were close to her in the whole town, but since shes been gone none of them have the effort to say other wise. Mrs. Carpenter hasn't been her usual self since 'that night'. Mr. Carpenter has serious anger issues and has been fired from nearly every job he's managed to get and as for Sab's brother he hasn't spoken one word not even to his own mother.

Everyone has been absolutely broken but she's not here to see it.
