3rd P.O.V
William was heartbroken to say the least.
"I'm sorry Grell." He kissed the sleeping beauty. He left the hospital room and went back to their house. He couldn't stay with his husband knowing he only had days left, it would drive him insane. He promised himself it was for the better. Will had made up his mind. There was nothing that could stop him now.
~Meanwhile~
Ronald had just got the news about Grell and was in shock. He had no more tears left to shed. As he sat by Grell's bed he thought of a memory he shared with the redhead. He closed his eyes and drifted into a peaceful sleep.
"Ronnie, Promise me something?" Grell spoke. It was 3 days after he had walked out on William. Ronald nodded his head.
"Promise me you will never leave me alone. Promise me you will go wherever I go and protect me from the bad people of the world?"
"Only if you do the same for me." The blonde smiled, he was glad he could look after his heartbroken friend.
"Always."
(AFTER ALL THIS TIME?)
Ronald shot open his eye when he heard a beeping noise. Doctors rushed in and forced him away from his friend. Tears streamed down the blondes face as he collapsed on a seat in the waiting room. Where was William when you needed him?
