The runaway warrior

Introduction

Once, long, long ago..... ok so more like eighteen years ago. Hiccup defeated Drago Bludvist with the help of his village, Berk and became chief! Not long after that he met Merida, the fiery red-headed princess with a passion for archery!  They met during a time of war for Merida's home of DunBroch and against some rough dragon trappers that were/are still loyal to Drago. Once DunBroch about Berk and how they trained dragons, they invited the Chief to their land to see if they could help. Luckily, with Hiccup being the Chief of Berk, he agreed to help and showed everyone in DunBroch how to make peace with the Dragons, while getting to know the royal family's daughter to, of course!

After time went on Hiccup and Merida were inseparable! Hiccup gave Merida what she always craved, freedom! They loved to explore together, whether it be on the hills of Scotland, or on the island of Berk! About a year after they met and married, Merida had given birth to twins, a baby boy and baby girl! The boy was named Travis, with bit of brown hair that were already starting to show and looked ever so much like his father! The girl was named Amelia with little pieces of red curls and looked so much like her mum! As they grew up, they found out that there personalities were completely different from each other! Amelia may have looked like her mother, but she was the best dragon tamer on the island by far, well next to her father. And Travis, he looked like his father, but oh boy did he ever so much take after his 'perfect aiming archer' of a mother!

When the twins were around the age of three, Merida and Hiccup had another child, a daughter to be precise. They decided to name her Kaida, they knew it wasn't the most normal name, but they liked it! She was born, in a word, different. With one eye the color of gold and the other silver, her blond hair barley showing, so ya, in a word, Kaida was defiantly different. 

As time went by, Travis learned how to split an arrow in two, just like his mother! Amelia became like a second 'Hiccup' when it came to training dragons! Kaida however, didn't really know what she was, she definitely wasn't a dragon tamer, every time she either went near a dragon or one came near her, disaster struck! She was like hiccup 'before' he befriended his NightFury 'Toothless'. She was 'ok' with a bow, she really would rather have a sword or daggers for up close combat, but she wouldn't tell anyone that, no one even knows she's good with a weapon at all. For she liked to go practice during the night when everyone was sleeping.

Just days before Kaida turns sixteen, that's when her real struggle begins.

I will also try to update every Thursday or Friday, but I am going into my senior year while doing collage half day, so if I miss a day, I may post a chapter randomly during the week. Hope everyone like my book!
