Too little, too broad just like the wind

Widely open like a window and tightly closed

There to embrace and to deny

To take you high and back to bottom

 Life

Takes us through many pages

Many chapters and blank spaces

Confusing endings with unexpected beginnings

Surprising twists yet wonder’s bits

Gives and takes away at the same time

Leaves us behind for us to feel lost

Then drags us along when we have nowhere else to run

That keeps flowing through…

Just like the soft paper between our fingertips

Like the whisper on top of our lips

Like the imagination that’s inside of us

Confusing painfully…

Too calm, too quite

Shallow and naïve

The depth that’s not seen

That invisible ink that doesn’t catch the eye

Yet blots on soft paper

That will always remain…

Life’s a bunch of pages written here and there incomplete

Leaving us to fill the blanks put the pages back together

Whatever the way we like… giving us a choice to make our own story

As we move on…
