Chapter 0: Brief history lesson

What's it like having no responsibilities or expectations? You'd think that just because I'm the youngest of 6 sisters, it means that I have no chance of being queen one day,
But that's not true,
Our culture works extremely different from other cultures,
Because with us, if a queen had a child, that child will automatically become the heir, and if the queen had more children, the second eldest will become the next heir, and so on, there are times where an heir can forefeit and choose another heir, but that's to the heir's decision,
We're different from other villages, for we are the village hidden in the forest,
It may sound weird, but we are literally a village hidden in a forest, humans can't come near our territory unless invited over by one of our species,
Our species?
Sirens
You've probably heard of us, but in a different way,
They said that Sirens are beautiful creatures who lure people in with their beauty and voice and eat said person,
Or just lead them to death,
Well...
I can't say that it isn't true, but I can't say it's true either,
Yes, we are beautiful creatures ^.^
No, we aren't winged creatures or sea creatures, (well, we kinda are)
Yes we lure people with our beauty and voice,
No, we don't have gills, we look human but aren't,
Yes, we do eat and kill people, but only when necessary and when there is a food shortage,
And yes we are in fact considered as monsters,
Sirens are something called 'Chakra Creatures'
You have Chakra monsters and you have us,
Chakra creatures like us, have loads of chakra inside of us, and whenever we use up chakra, we regain it quickly,
Anyway,
Us Sirens are special, we have sky sirens, land sirens and water sirens,
Then here comes the history lesson
Before the three siren classifications, there were only 2 sirens in the world,
The siren of the sun and the siren of the moon,
Both of them were sisters, and loved each other dearly, until the moon fell in love with someone she shouldn't,
A human,
Sirens were rare at that time, and humans, more specifically ninjas, try to hunt us down, because if a siren is killed, said person who kills a siren takes all chakra that the siren has and a huge wave of chakra can be handed over to the killer,
Anyway,
The sun siren didn't trust that human, but her sister was so helplessly in love with him, that she stopped telling her sister to leave him, instead she only reminded her to be cautious of him,
The moon siren and the human were married, and all seemed fine,
One day, she found out that her sister had a child, a beautiful little girl,
She was happy to receive the news, stating that she is to visit them to meet her niece,
But upon visiting them, she witnessed a sight she couldn't believe,
The man who-so-called 'loved' her sister,
Has killed her right before her very eyes,
As the chakra continued to grow inside of him, the sun siren killed him without a second thought,
After mourning for her sister for quite a while, she heard a loud cry from one of the rooms,
Her sister's daughter was still alive, she took her under her wing and raised her as her own,
Her niece proved to be a kind and beautiful girl with much power inside her veins,
Her name was Suzuki, who soon became the siren of life,
She herself fell in love with a human, much to her aunt's dismay, but accepted it anyway,
A few years after, they got married and had a child,
But after finding out the child was a girl, she and her husband continued to bear more until they had a total of 6,
She was unsuccessful in bearing a son, so her husband left after their last child was born,
But Suzuki was happy with her daughters, and loved them dearly,
The eldest, the siren of the snakes, had the heart of a leader, and mind of a ruler, a perfect heir to the throne,
The 2nd eldest were twins, one was the siren of the owls, and the other the siren of the Tigers, the siren of owls was gifted with a brilliant mind, and was also the wisest of wise, while the siren of the Tigers, was born with amazing strength and intimidation,
The 3rd eldest was the siren of the deers, she was beautiful inside and out, she may seem weak, but she makes up for it with agility and beauty,
The 2nd youngest was the siren of the wolves, she was fast, keen, and quiet, extremely quiet, a perfect assassin,
While the youngest, well, she was too young to learn what kind of siren she was,
One day, Suzuki left her children to continue something only she knew, since then, the sisters were on their own
Few years past, more and more sirens started showing up again, and their species was no longer endangered,
They lived happily in the village up hidden in the forest,
We lived happily in the village hidden in the forest,
And we will forever be safe here.
