JOHNNY KILLED BOB

MICKEYS POV

When I woke up I turned to see soda and me still on the couch from lastnight.

And Darry was reading the newspaper.
I sat up careful not to wake soda.

"Morning Mickey" darry said.

"Darry where is Pony?" I asked.

"He never came back" darry said.

"Oh my god what if something bad happened?" I said running to me sodas and Pony's room getting dressed in a Jean jacket and a white tee-shirt.

I ran downstairs grabbing my brown leather bag.

"I'm going to Buck's ok" I told Darry.

Soda was still sleeping  and it was Saturday so I decided to take his truck keys and drive to bucks because walking would be dangerous.

When I got to Buck's I got out running to the door knocking.

Buck answered.

"What do you want?" Buck asked me.

"I need to see Dally!" I said pushing past buck running towards dally room.

I walked inside to see Dally sleeping.

I walked to dally shaking him "dally wake up" I screamed.

He shot up looking around then noticed me.

"What the hell Mickey what are you doing here?" Dally asked.

"Did Pony come here last night?"  I asked.

"Umm" dally hesitated.

"Dally please I need to know!" I replied.

"Him and Johnny came here and needed to see me because last night Johnny killed Bob" dally told me.

"Johnny killed Bob" I said.

"Yea they were trying to drown Pony and I gave them money and made them take the train to the abandon church until the story is on the low." Dally told me.

I felt better that they were ok and not dead.

"tomorrow I'm going up there" Dally said.

"Will you tell Pony I miss him and Darry is sorry?" I asked dally.

"Yea"Dally responded sitting up.

"Thanks dal" I said hugging him.

"Yea yea now get home" Dally told me.

I left and drove home to see Soda sitting on the front porch in a wife beater and jeans.

I got out of his truck and walked to him..

"Hey soda" I said.

"Are Pony and Johnny ok?" Soda asked.

"Dally sent them to the abandon church to wait this out" I told soda.

"Also here's your keys" I said throwing the keys to Soda.

Soda and I were relaxing on the couch when he asked "Hey want to go to the dingo to get some lunch?"

  "Yea sure"I replied.

When Soda and I  got to the dingo I orderd a burger and fries.

"Hey Mickey I have a question" Soda told me.

"Yea"I responded.

"do you want to work at the dx with me and Steve?." Soda asked.

"Oh my god I would love to Soda" I said excited.

"Ok well you can start Monday" soda told me.

"Ok thanks soday" I replied taking a dink of cola and finished my burger.

Once me and Soda were done eating we went back to the house.

When we entered two-bit was over watching Mickey Mouse so I decided to take a shower.

I went to the bathroom and got undressed and turned the shower on.

I cleaned my body and washed my hair then got out.

I went to my room to get dressed.

I put on a fresh black tank top and jeans with a jean jacket to match.

When I went back in the living room soda was sitting with two still watching tv.

I sat next to Soda and layed my head down on his chest why'll he played with my hair.

A few minutes later the door opened and I looked to reveal Dally then pony boy and Johnny came in with him.

I immediately got up running to pony hugging him and kissing his forehead.

"Wait Pony your hair is blond!" I shouted.

"I had to dye it so they wouldn't recognize me" Pony said.

"Johnny I'm so sorry" I said going up to him hugging him and also kissing his forehead.

"It's ok" Johnny told me looking down at his feet going to sit in the couch.

"Pony can I speak to you outside?" I asked.

Pony followed me outside and we sat on the porch swing.

"Pony I'm sorry Darry hit you and he's so sorry " I said hugging Pony.

Pony wrapped his arms around me and I heard him sob.

"I don't mean to make him mad." Pony choked.

"I know it's ok it happens to everyone" I told Pony.

When Pony stopped crying we sat there and I held him like I used to when we were younger .

Then Darry pulled up and when he saw pony he quickly ran to Pony and apologized and hugged him.
