The crowd roared all around him. All the people were holding signs that said Marry me, Sullinger? or I'm just doing this to annoy the guy behind me. Either way, the surround system in the stadium was blaring music from it's jumbo speakers. Pow! A white light flashed behind my eyes.
All I knew was that the punch hurt like hell. The force of his punch was tremendous and my head snapped back from the power. I knew that would leave a mark. And suddenly, I was falling, falling back into nothingness,
"And Sullinger goes down!", the announcer shouted.
I was still on the floor and still dizzy. I still had about 7 seconds before they counted it as a knockout. I had blood running down the left side of my face from the punch, but I don't care a quiet rage enveloped me and I could see red. I was not gonna let him win this way.
I was back up before you could even say knockout. I rose in a fit of anger, slowly on purpose, to give it that dramatic effect.
I looked my opponent in the eyes and he looked into mine. When you were fighting, it was best to keep eye contact with your foe. This was a way to detect fear in your opponent's eyes.
