Hayes Grier ~ On Cloud 9

I slept about half of the plane ride. I tosed and turned the whole night before because I was so nervous about going to North Carolina, so i really needed that nap. The other half of the plane ride I watched Dear John, it was by far my favorite movie of all time.

Our plane landed an hour ago and we were on our way to our new house. As we started going down my new street, it really started to hit me... I'm really moving...

We pulled up and right away I fell in love. All my nervousness slipped away as I made my way out of the car. The house was perfect... Right when I opened the door, i fell completely head over heels. Every little detail was perfect.

Right across from the door was a giant staircase with a balcony. As you turn your head to the left you saw the dining room, the table was big enough to fit ten people. Which i didn't completely understand because we only have four people in my family. To the right of the door was a nice living room with a giant piano in the corner, and a fire place that took up half the wall. The couches matched the theme of the room perfectly. Next to the staircase was a hallway that brought you to the kitchen. I loved the marble counter tops on the island in the middle of the kitchen and all the new kitchen equipment that was pushed to the sides of the counters. There was a sink with a window right in front of it, so that when you are doing the dishes you would look out to the beautiful backyard. To the left of the kitchen was the living room. You could also get to it by going through the dining room. There was a giant flat screen tv placed up on the wall and a big comfy couch that was in a shape of an L. Seriously this house was like my old one on steroids.

Once I took the tour of the first floor I toured the rest of the house. Until finally, I was standing outside the door to my room. As I opened the door i got a sudden rush of excitement. It was my dream room. I saw my bed in the middle of the room with nightstands made out of mirrors on each side and windows that sat right behind it. My desk was all set and was reattached and was up against my wall. Next to my desk was a door. I opened it up and found a bathroom. I had never had my own bathroom before and i was really happy that i finally got to stop sharing one with my brother.

Across the room was my dresser that matched perfectly with my nightstands. Next to my dresser was another door. I opened it up and saw all my clothes that were shipped over hung up on a pole. It was a nice small walk in closet. Even though it wasn't huge i was in love with it. Acoss the wall from my bed was a flat screen tv. I was seriously in love with this house... It was beyond perfect.
