It's Kinda What I Live With

Working with Peyton actually made the class go by faster. We finished easily, even though it was a twenty page assignment we weren't supposed to get done until this Wednesday.
He's a really kind person. He learned to sing from watching his mom and uncle working on their radio station. The guest that sometimes came into the station taught him a few tricks and the whole thing sparked his interest for music.
His dad was always busy, he coached at a different school a few towns over, teaching football. That's what sparked Peyton's interest for football.
He's still trying to decide weather he wants music or sports to be his future career, so he's doing both and seeing which one he prefers
The worst part was that he's in the talent show also so we're kind of against each other, but that wasn't going to stop me from talking to him during school hours.
But finally lunch comes around and I'm the usual silent me.
Liam and and Carter are talking about tomorrow's game while Emma tries to understand the overall importance of sports. It's almost like she's just now realizing it.
I'm barely eating anything while trying to stay out of the conversation.
There was this sudden nagging in my stomach. Kinda like anxiety, but it seemed more stressful. Like an unstable anxiety. But it was a different kind of anxiety. Like, you're ocd with what you do, kinda. Like someone's watching you.
I looked over, to the table behind Liam and Emma, to see Perry staring at me. Again.
It was another of those days, isn't it?
"I'll see you guys later, okay?" I told Liam and Emma.
"But-" I quickly picked up my tray and walked over to sit next to Perry.
"Hey, Raven," Marlo, the girl with brown streaks within her black hair and green eyes, greeted me.
She sat across from me.
Everyone else at the table greeted me in the same way.
Drake had short, normal, black hair and brown eyes. He was the troublesome one, but he was super hilarious.
Zander had dark brown hair that was always messy, and brown eyes. He showed me My Chemical Romance, a great band.
Norin had light pink hair and it was super poofy, which made her the misfit out of the group. Misfits being her favorite band, it didn't surprise me that she was just that.
Ridley was the shy one. She had dark black hair that was also really long and poofy, and her bright blue eyes are amazing. She showed me Panic! At The Disco and Twenty One Pilots.
Devin was the short one, being 4'10 while the rest of the group are around 5'5. I'm just beside him though, being 5'1 He had bright blue hair and green eyes. He showed me bands like Paramore and All Time Low.
Perry, secretly, is my favorite. He's a bit taller than me and has super-emo hair. It's all poofy, messy, and hair sprayed like shit, but all the while he seems to keep it softer than mine. In-normally soft, if I must. He showed me so many bands, I'm not sure I can remember them all.
Black Veil Brides, Green Day, Simple Plan, Pierce The Veil, Good Charlotte, Bring Me The Horizon, Motionless In White, Fall Out Boy, Falling In Reverse, Sleeping With Sirens, Asking Alexandria, Johnnie Guilburt.....
There's too many to count.
But they all mean so much to me because he showed them to me. He showed me a group of friends when I had no one.
