"Mom I know," I chuckled as I gathered my keys ready to go out with my room mate as I adjusted my phone.

"I know Nora,just be careful,don't drink and drive and don't do anything bad."

"Mom,you've been telling me this since I was ten,I'd be surprised if I didn't have this down word for word. I'm only seventeen as well mom. It's not even legal for me to drink. It's just dinner with some friends;because it's her birthday."

"I know but still,as your mother it's my job to tell you these things,some stupid kid would be doing these things."

"I know Mom,and I love you for that. But I'm not one of these stupid kids. I have to go now,my friends are here."

"Okay,have fun and stay with them. I'll call you tomorrow."

"Okay bye Mom love you." I said as I hung up on my mom,putting the last of the things in my bag.

"Come on,she's here!" My friend Jade said as she pulled me out of our dorm.

"Okay,okay,slow down! It's kinda hard to run in heels Jade!"

"Right,sorry!"

"There you guys are!" My friend Nikki said as she got out of her car.

"Happy birthday Nikki!" I yelled as I gave her a hug.

"Aww,thank you so much."

"Happy birthday Nikki." Jade said as she gave her a hug too.

"Tonight's gonna be so much fun."

"Hell yeah it is!" Nikki screamed.

"Hey,this is for you. I didn't know what to get you so I just got you a locket with us all on it."

"It's amazing,thank you so much Nora." She said as she looked inside the locket with a picture of me Jade and Nikki in it.

"Don't forget about me." Jade said as she handed Nikki a box.

"Jade it's wonderful." Nikki said as she opened the box to reveal a silver watch.

Jades always been on the more rich side then both me and Nikki,but she was never like one of those obnoxious rich girls.

"Thank you both so much,I love them both." Nikki said as she hugged us.

"Well let's go girls!" Jade yelled.

"Let's go!"

We all hopped into Nikki's convertible.

Her parents had bought her it as a gift for her birthday.

"Turn the radio on Nikki." Jade screamed,the convertible was down,meaning the wind was making lots of noise.

Nikki turned the radio on to 106.7 which was currently playing "Wild Thoughts"
