"Dear Diary,
I just finished a photo shoot with a K-Pop group called BTS. It was for their new teaser for a new album that they would soon release. It was definitely one of the most fun photo shoots I had ever done. They were all just so full of life and very polite, probably the most polite group I've ever met, but it could of gone better. I was pretty satisfied with the photos I took, except I wasn't very inspired. I hadn't gotten any offers lately and I definitely wanted to really skyrocket my career."
"At least it has given me some time to actually hang out more with my friends and family. It's kind of like one of those cliche drama movies where the main character doesn't have time to hang out with their friends and family because of their job.... It's exactly the kind of situation I was in. Since I moved away from them back in Daegu, I haven't gotten to see them at ALL. I decided to drive over to go see them, along with my friends, last week. It was the most fun I've had in a while. I'm now back in Seoul, obviously."
"Anyways, I better get going. Later Diary, I'll talk to you later!" I finished writing, adding a cringy exclamation mark at the end. Before you judge me, yes, I have a diary. Sue me! It's not like I write edgy poetry and express my depressing and detailed feelings. All I write is what I did today and my schedules. As you already know, I haven't been getting any offers lately. I've been recently putting up ads across the internet to gain some more popularity and hopefully get some offers. I wasn't successful.... yet. I still frequently check my notifications daily to see any signs of a chance! Still nothing. I guess I'll just watch some YouTube while I wait for just ONE notification.
Five hours later
Wow, that got out of hand. I literally watched YouTube for five hours. I quickly checked my notification, remembering why I waited so long. Still nothing. This has never happened before. As a famous Korean photographer, I think I should at least get one offer after a few days. NOPE! I was wrong!
I slowly turned my head to look at the time. 10:57 pm, I tiredly read in my mind. I guess I better go to bed... Never in my life have I thought that. 10:57 pm? Late? No way. I usually went to sleep at, like, 4:00 am. Except tonight, I was especially tired. BTS was sure an energetic ball of sunshine that was very tiring but enjoyable.
I made my way down my long hallway, already getting more tired by the second while I thought about all the work I had to do tomorrow. I finally reached my bedroom, the door creaking open as I entered my large room. I sighed as I eased into my soft, comfortable bed, almost automatically pulling my fluffy and soft covers over my head. Darkness fell over my eyes, the silence and coldness of my room luring me into a deep slumber.
The next morning
I woke up to the morning sun shining through my window and onto my face. I shielded my eyes as the sunlight nearly blinded me, yawning as I quickly got up. My eyes suddenly switched over to the clock by my bed. 10:00 am. Great. 12 hours of sleep. This is probably the most sleep I've ever gotten. Wait, that's a lie. I've slept for 15 hours before. Anyway, I had planned to have lunch with my best friend, BFF/N (this stands for best friends name. They're a girl, by the way). We were going to meet at 11:00 am. I had one hour to get ready and drive there. Great. I panicked as I ran over to my closet and chose a ((Color)) top with jean shorts and some converse. "NO TIME FOR MAKEUP!" I yelled out loud, unaware of how loud and intensely I yelled. Oops, sorry neighbors.
I practically kicked open my door when I reached it. I had no time for opening doors. I glanced down at my watch as I started my car. 10:40 am. Shit. I fumbled with my keys and shoved it into the ignition, twisting them violently. I slammed my foot onto the gas pedal and zoomed into the street, not even caring if I almost hit someone. Don't worry, no children are awake at 10:40 in the morning. They all wake up noon! I told myself reassuringly. Luckily, I didn't hit anyone or get hit by anyone. I gassed my car down the road, hoping to make it on time.
I MADE IT! I mean, I was 5 minutes late but, whatever. I shoved the glass door to the entrance of Tavolo 24 and rushed in. I immediately spotted BFF/N over near the large windows. I noticed that she had already ordered food and drinks. I plopped down in the seat across from her, examining the food and drink she had ordered me. She got me a coke and just a sandwich. Perfect. Their sandwiches tasted like a perfect meal sprinkled with magic. Not even joking. My stomach growled intensely as the mouthwatering scent of the sandwich wafted over to my nose. I tore into it, not even caring about the weird looks my friend was casting me. "Anyway..." She began. "I'm glad that we are able to catch up! I haven't seen you in, like, a week but so much has happened!" She squealed excitedly. I nodded, unable to talk due to my food-filled mouth. She began going on and on about what's happening in her life at the moment. Pretty sure you don't really care.
While she was talking, something in the corner of my eye caught my attention. My phone had lit up. BFF/N's eyes flicked over to my phone, slightly tilting her head in wonder. A notification? Could it be? I grabbed my phone from the corner of the table and my eyes zipped over the words. "You have one new email from Pledis." I reported to her. My friends eyes grew large, a slight happy expression appeared on her face. I jammed my finger onto the screen and clicked the notification. I read the email in almost under 15 seconds, my mind filling with joy. "Pledis offered me to come over and do a photo shoot.." I explained to BFF/N in disbelief. I looked up to her slowly. It felt like time had stopped. I finally had a chance.
Yay, chapter one to my first story is done! I know that it's bad but this is my first story. I'm improving! I mean, I want to be a famous author anyways. I hope you enjoyed reading the first chapter to my story. If you want to be notified whenever I post a new chapter or story, go ahead and follow me! Sorry, I'm not trying to be desperate. Anway, bye!
