I was woke up the next morning to a bucket of cold water being thrown on me.

"Wake up, sunshine!"

I shook my now wet hair out of my face and looked up to see the demon holding the bucket he just used. He set it down on the ground before picking up a knife and continuing where he left off.

He cut a stripe on my cheek and then punched me in the stomach. I was completely winded and the demon watched as I struggled to breathe.

Once I finally got my breath back I looked up to try and figure out what he was going to do next.

"I liked seeing you like that. Let's do it again."

He stepped forward and punched me even harder. I coughed and almost got sick this time, but considering he hasn't given me water or food, nothing came out.

I took a few more moments to catch my breath. He laughed and I stupidly spit at his feet. It landed right on his shoe. I laughed before screaming because he stabbed my other thigh.

"Rose!"

I looked over to see Sam, Dean, and some guy in a trench coat standing there.

"Ah, so they finally arrive, but they brought a friend. Well, the more the merrier right?"

"Sam..."

The blood loss was getting to me and I was getting weaker by the second. I could only whisper his name. My head started to droop and I had to strain my eyes to look at Sam.

Another demon burst into the room to help. Sam rushed over to me and pushed my head up so he could look at me. Dean attacked the demon that had been torturing me and the other guy attacked the new demon.

Sam moved some hair out of my face and tucked it behind my ear. I was shivering from the cold water that had been thrown on me.

A bright light flashed in the room and I looked behind Sam to see both demons lying on the floor dead. One had the demon knife sticking out but the other one's eyes looked all burnt up.

"Cas!" Sam yelled.

The guy in the trench coat walked over to me. I looked at him frightened. He may have been helping Sam and Dean, but what he did to that demon wasn't natural and I didn't know him.

Sam grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him.

"Rose, this is Castiel. He's an angel and a good friend of ours. He's going to heal you, okay?"

I looked at Sam for a moment more before nodding. I was quickly fading and if Sam trusted him then I did too.

Sam nodded at Cas and he walked over to me.

First, he pulled the knife that was still in my thigh out. He bent down a little and placed two fingers on my forehead. I felt a weird but comforting warmth spread through me and I felt as good as new. I mean, not exactly, I was extremely tired and hungry, not to mention dirty.

Sam untied my restraints and I immediately flung myself into his arms. Now that I wasn't being faced with death, tears came to my eyes.

He immediately wrapped his around me, and hand coming up to smooth my hair down. I cried into his neck and he shushed me gently. I gripped his jacket tightly and continued to cry.

"Rose, you're freezing!"

He pulled back and I tried to pull him back to me but he pried my hands from his jacket. I was so scared and what Sam was doing wasn't helping my mental state.

I watched him, still very frightened, and he took his jacket off. My fears were dampened when he put the jacket around my shoulders and then he promptly wrapped his arms around me again.

Out of the corners of my eyes, I saw Dean and Castiel looking at me concerned, their faces filled with pity.

"Come on, Sam. Let's get going. We should get her out of here and somewhere familiar." Dean said.

I felt Sam nod and then he stood up carrying me in his arms as I continued to cry.

When we got to the car, Sam set me in the back seat and climbed in beside me, wrapping his arms around me again. Dean got in the driver's seat and Cas sat in the passenger seat. Dean started Baby and drove off.

The car's familiar smell and smooth driving along with Sam's scent calmed me down considerably and soon I was only sniffling.

Once I got complete control over my emotions, I moved out of Sam's arms and leaned against the window.

I was extremely tired but I fought sleep. I was terrified.

Every time my eyes closed I opened them back up immediately and rubbed my eyes.

"Rose..."

I turned to Sam and he pulled me to him again. Out of instinct, I laid my head on his shoulder. His arm rested on my shoulder keeping me to him.

"Go to sleep, we won't let anything happen to you."

He placed his lips on my forehead and left them there for a few second before moving away. I snuggled into him feeling safe again and dozed off.
