[Paused] A Fallen Angel [Undertale Asriel x Chara Fanfiction]

Day 34

~ Chara's POV ~

Asriel was in a coma for two days already. I was next to his bed all the time. I only went away from him to go to the toilet. I didn't eat anything and only drank small amounts of water. I was crying all the time and just prayed for him. I wanted him to wake up again. I was very sad.

'What if he never wakes up again?', is the thought that made me cry more and more.

I was completely unaware of my surroundings. I only cared about Asriel. If he'd die, I'd die too. He is my only light in a dark room. Sans suddenly came in the room and wanted to tell me something.

"Our research has shown that the explosion was not an accident. There were many sightings of a human roaming around, but everyone thought that was you. Were you that human roaming around?", he said and asked.

"No. I was with Asriel all the time!", I told under my cries.

"That means there was another human here who made the explosion.", he continued.

My eyes widened. They weren't the red eyes from before. They were completely black. Sans jumped back because of my black eyes but quickly calmed down from the shock. I walked out of the house and searched the whole underground.

"Hey, bro. Isn't that Ass' gf? Nice ass bitch! Haha!", one of Asriel's friends said.

I simply ignored them. I searched more until I came to the ruins. I went inside and saw a human trying to burn the flowers. I jumped on them and started beating them. I took the lighter and continued beating. I suddenly felt something on my belly when I got a knife in my stomach. The human turned me over and started beating me. I was near blacking out when one of Asriel's friends ran inside and kicked the human away. He couldn't give the human many hits but got many hits by the human. The human was sitting over the friend and beat him. He wasn't moving anymore. I took the knife out of me and threw it at the human. It went in the human's eye. I was slowly blacking out from the blood loss as I saw Sans running in my direction. I blacked out when he arrived.

~ Sans' POV ~

Asriel's friends told me they saw a human running on the ruins. I ran inside too to find a human with a knife in his head, a monster that was near death and Chara with a stab wound. I ran to Chara, picked her up and teleported to Gaster. Even though I hate teleporting I had to because Chara would have died on the way. Gaster immediately stopped what he was working on and connected Chara to a machine. He started a soul-scan to see how damaged the soul is. When the scan was completed we were shocked to see a black soul with a giant crack. I ran to get a DT capsule. Gaster took a syringe and injected the DT in the black soul. The soul started burning and cracking more and more. The more DT Gaster injected the slower it cracked. I walked to Asriel's house to check on him. I saw him standing in the kitchen while drinking a coffee. I told him that Chara was hurt and in my home-lab. The cup fell out of his hand and he started running to the Lab. I walked there.

~ Asriel's POV ~

I ran to Sans' Lab. I ran without a break. I ignored my tired legs. I just ran there. When I arrived there I found Chara laying on a hospital bed. A black soul floated over her and I wondered what that soul was when I realized the soul was cracking more and more.

Chara saw me and immediately screamed silently: "Asriel! You're okay!"

She coughed blood. I ran up to her and hugged her.

I asked: "Chara! What happened?!"

She answered: "I was searching *cough* for that human who made the *cough* explosion. He tried to burn our *cough* flowers. I tried to attack him, but he had a knife and *cough* stabbed me. One of your friends helped *cough* me, but I don't know how he is."

"God, Chara! Why do you do these stuff!", I asked jokingly.

She coughed even more blood. The soul was breaking more and more. It was before breaking. She was hugging me.

"I love you.", she said.

"I love you too.", the soul broke after me saying that.

"Chara? Can you hear me? Chara? Chara...?", I asked, "Chara...? Please... Speak to me... Please..."

I started crying. What I didn't see was that the soul refused. She gasped for air. I was scared for a second but hugged her immediately. I didn't let her go. I hugged her very tight and she hugged back. Sans and Gaster looked very confused. They made more tests with Chara's soul.

"We don't really know what happened, but it seems like through Asriel on your side your soul refused to break.", Gaster explained.

We were just happy that we both were in a good condition. We walked home arm in arm. Very slow. We told each other that we love each very very much.We arrived in Hotland and immediately stopped because we know where all the cameras in Hotland were. When we were out of Hotland we continued cuddling. We were home and quickly got in my, no, our room. We kept cuddling and kissing. We didn't sleep a minute. We only kissed and cuddled. I only cared about Chara.

"Hey, Azzy? Wanna do it again?", Chara got red.

I answered: "Y-Yes, Chara!"
