"Check the vital signs on Diaphanous"
"On it"
"Flat"
"How many more seconds left"
"None, she's dead now".
The room fell silent. The girl that was just pronounced dead sat up. She was pale almost transparent. Her dad ran up to her.
"She's freezing cold "
"She's dead sir you're gonna have to let her go"
"I-i-m not de-ad"
Silence. Not a sound in the whole hospital. The girl who just got into fatal car crash and was dead for 10 minutes isn't so dead after all. Everyone in the room ran to her. I scurried everyone out. I checked her vitals once again. Nothing. I checked her heart beat. Nothing.
"I'm alive- I'm not sure what you're doing"
There is no way in hell this girl is dead but some how still alive. I have no chose but to let her go home. She's talking and her brain is working perfectly. She's alive? No no no she's dead but alive?
