"Bailey-Marie Veoli!" I groaned, rolling over and stuffing a pillow into my face. It was the morning the day after the concert, not to mention I was sore from barreling over backwards on the stage.

"I'm up!" I yelled back, my voice muffled by my pillow.

"I'd hear the floor creaking if you were! Hurry up and get dressed! Your brother and dad are already up and working on the chores!" The person yelling was my mother, Miranda. She was a small stout woman in her late fourties, she may have been small but she was well respected around Russellville.

"Fine!" I yelled back, I pulled the cover's back, and swung my legs over onto the floor, the slight chight from the morning air crept onto my legs. I pulled myself up and pulled my sleeping clothes off, and pulled on jeans, a tank top and threw my brown hair back into a pony tail. I pulled on my boots, tromped down stairs, and stole a piece of bread off the table without my mom noticing, appearently I'd slept through breakfast as well, and then I flew outside going to find my dad.

"Mornin' Bales." Was the next thing I heard as I turned a corner around one of the barns. It was my dad, he was standing there with a few other men, including my brother, that he'd asked to help us with the cattle run, and in return we'd help them with theres. I was also surprised that our horses were already tacked and ready to go, including mine.

"Hi dad, the chores done already?" I asked, going over to my bay quarter horse gelding named Devil's Tyranny. I just called him Tyranny.

"Yup, I was about to send Jason to come get you up, but I see you mama's already done that." My dad said.

I shrugged and put my leg in the stirrup and swung my other leg up and over onto the other side of tthe saddle. "So we heading out?" I asked, looking over at the gate to the North Pasture.

"Yeah, alright boys! You know the drill, let's head out." I laughed at my dad, he loved this part of his job. I was about to follow the others with joining the others with the thundering of hooves, but just then my phone buzzed. I glanced down on it and saw that it was Hunter, I felt my face go red, I had forgotten that we exchanged numbers, I glanced at what it said. 'Hey we should meet up or something. I was serious when I told you I wanted to get to know you better.

I hastily put together a reply. 'Sure! I would love to do that!' I hit send and felt Tyranny move underneath me, that reminded where I was. "Oops!" I shuffled Tyranny into a quick gallop trying to catch up with my dad, brother and the others. Lucky for me, Tyranny was quick on his feet and I easily caught up with my them. I slowed Tyranny into an easy trot as I settled with Jason in the back of the group. He raised an eyebrow at me. "What?"

"Your now just catching uop? Normally your way ahead of dad, and he's lead."

"Well I.." My phone buzzed again, I didn't answer Jason, instead I turned to my phone and pulled it out. unlocking it to read the text message.

'Great, I finish in the studio around 7' this evening.. what time are you free?' It read.

I sent back with. 'I finish anytime, want me to meet you in Nashville?' I was beaming, a smile all the way across my face. I moved to catch up with dad, Tryanny seeming very happy to move at a faster pace. "Daddy?" I called to him once I finally got closer, we we're finally getting to the farthest part of the pasture where the cattle spent grazing a lot of the time.

"Alright, you called me daddy. That only means you want something." He asnwered me as I caught up with him, and slowed my horse down again.

He know's me to well. "Actually.. what time are we going to get done?" I asked him.

"Got plan's tonight?" He asked.

"Well... not yet but there are about to be some." I spoke, feeling my phone buzz again as soon as I said it.

"We keep going, no breaks we should finish around, oh say, six?"

"No breaks right?"

"No breaks."

I turned around and yelled. "No breaks guys!" I heard a few groans and laughs coming from behind me.

"Wa-wait Bailey I didn't mean it!" My dad spoke. "I thought you were joking, what's going on? What plans do you have?"

"Oh, it's just an outwith some friends." I spoke, it wasn't really a lie, only an outwith a country superstar.. but before my dad could even respond I sped up again. "No breaks!" I yelled again, I bolted onto the side and the cows along the fence started moving, and eventually we had it all turned around and had the cows moving back towards the entrance of the gate. Only then did I check my phone. 'Sure, why don't you meet me at the Korea House around 7:30? You know where it is?'

'Yup! I go there sometimes with my brother.' I sent back as my response.

"Bailey! Put your phone away and focus! Your the one that wanted to get done so quick!" I heard my dad yell from across the heard, curse him and his amazing eye sight.

"Sorry dad!" I yelled back. For the rest of the day, it was a mixture of being of being cattle in, reginning them out, for the entire twenty miles we rode. It was close to six actually by the time that we got done, and I heard my dad close the gate with a clink. We were done, I heard a few men groan and shuffle around on there horses, we were done. The house by a whole was ten miles away by the trail, but only five by the main road. I couldn't risk getting Tryanny hurt, so I went for the trail. "I gotta go! Bye!" Again not even waiting for a response or anything, I turned Tyranny around and he bolted into the trail. The good thing about him being a quarter horse, he could gallop a good few miles before being tired.

I road him all the way back in record time, around ten minutes. Tyranny was exaushted and drenched with sweat. I pulled off his saddle and removed the bridle, and put him in the pasture and he began walking around, I knew he was going to be fine. My legs were sore but I didn't have time to care, I ran for the house, ripping off my boots. "Back already?" My mother peeked out from the kitchen.

"Sorry mom! There still back there, I have plans, can't talk, I'm gonna be late!" I yelled as I thundered up the stairs and flew into the shower. Five minutes later I was out, and I flew into my room. Ok, what was I going to wear on a date? Wait was it even a date? I started to freak out before I glanced at the clock. I didn't have time for this, Nashville was fourty-two miles away, I had to leave soon. I ended up with a white dress that fell to my knees, I pulled on a jean jacket and had a little makeup on, letting my hair dry naturally, it was the prettiest when it did so. I grabbed my purse, my phone and my car keys before I thundered down the stairs, seeing my dad standing there.

"Hold on just a minute there-" My dad started but my mom elbowed him.

"Have fun sweetie! Be safe." She said. That's what I loved about my mom, she was always on my side when it came to me going out and that kind of thing, but there was no way I could tell I was going to meet a country superstar.

I flew out the door and waved to my brother as he told me to wait for a minute, he came running over and plopped something on my wet hair. "Never go anywhere without that." He laughed, turning around as he walked off, I reached in up and pulled it off, it was my hat, I smiled, I always had it with me.

I slid into my truck, and the engine roared as I backed out of the driveway and went the freeway. Fourty-two miles later in Nashville, in one of the malls, in the Korea House, being escorted to the back of the resturant to have dinner with Hunter Hayes.
