If all our life is but a dream

Fantastic posing greed

Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea

For diamonds do appear to be

Just like broken glass to me

And then she said she can't believe

Genius only comes along

In storms of fabled foreign tongues

Tripping eyes, and flooded lungs

Northern downpour sends its love

"Moon. Mooooon. Moon, honey, wake up," I heard Tristan whisper in my ear. Gaaaah, I don't wanna wake up. It's too early.

"Go away Tristan. Me like sleep," I whinned. I don't care if I have stuff to do, my beds warm and soft. I'm staying.

"Come on babe, we gotta get up. It's already one o'clock. We have to pack."

"Can't we pack tomorrow? I wanna sleep."

"No, we leave Thursay. Come on, if you don't get your little ass up I'll tickle you."

"You wouldn't..." he's found my weakness.

"But I would. So I suggest you get up. Come on, I'll make you coffee."

"Fine, but only because I like coffee.." I said sleepily. We're moving to LA Thursday night, which isn't good because today's Tuesday. Shit. We haven't even started packing yet. I wonder if I can call Pete and delay till Friday.... ah, he won't agree to that. I have to meet with the music company. I'm kinda scared about how Tristan's gonna act around all the bands... I mean, this is a big change for him. He usually goes to my live shows, but no one famous ever goes. I guess I'll just have to see.

I pulled back the bed sheets to get up and put my shirt and sweat pants back on.

"Trriiisssttaaaaaaaaan.... will you give me a piggy back ride? I'm too lazy to walk downstairs. Pretty please?" I asked him.. hopefully he says yes.

Next thing I know, he's picking me up bridal style. I lay my head on his chest and close my eyes. He smells good... is it weird that I'm smelling my boyfriend? Naaah, I can smell him all I want. Who cares. He walked down the stairs and then set me on the kitchen counter.

"Thank's babe," I said smiling.

"Anytime honey," he said while giving me a peck on my lips. I was kinda disapointed when he pulled away. I bet that showed on my face.. and yes, it showed very much. Now he was laughing at me. Not funny. He can't just give me a peck and expect that I'm okay with just that.

"Disapointed much? I mean, I can always do this if it helps," he said while leaning down to my neck. He was standing between my legs while I had my hands on his chest. I leaned my head to the side as he started leaving kisses all up and down my neck. He came back up to my jaw line and slowly placed a soft kiss on my lips. I held back a moan as he deepened the kiss. God, he's so amazing. The thing I love about Tristan is that he can be totally sexy and a gentleman at the same time. I'm glad he's going to LA with me.. I wouldn't be able to go without him.

The ink is running toward the page

It's chasin' off the days

Look back at both feet

And that winding knee

I missed your skin when you were east

You clicked your heels and wished for me

Through playful lips made of yarn

That fragile Capricorn

Unraveled words like moths upon old scarves

I know the world's a broken bone

But melt your headaches, call it home
