Monday afternoon. I finished putting on my brown jacket and pulled my hairs out, hearing the noise that the soft curls made over the leather. I sighed, knowing I was in for one hell of a ride. I was, in a few minutes, going to the shopping with my sister, Maria. I knew I was getting hurt feet on the end of our trip to the shopping, regardless the fact that I’m wearing completely cozy and comfy converses. I reached the handle of my bedroom’s door. When I was about to turn it, my phone rang inside of my jacket’s pocket. I sighed and let go of the handle to grab my phone. When I saw Danny’s name I didn’t hesitate in answering, pulling the green ball to the side.

“Hello!” I said normally

“Hello!” I noticed her naughty tone there “So tell me, wich brand is it? Oh, I guess this time it’s completely adorable!” She giggled “All of the dresses you take are cute but I have a idea that this one is gonna be even more!” I giggled

“I don’t have it yet!” I said, grabbing the handle and turning it

“What do you mean you don’t have it yet?!” She emphasized while I closed the door of my room

“I’m going shopping with M!” I stated

“Oh… Get ready for you feet hurting!” I sighed

“I don’t even know why I have to go shopping!” I said

“Oh yeah! ‘I have enough shoes and clothes! I don’t need to go shopping!’ said no woman, EVER!” I sighed

“I guess your right!” I said and I could tell she was smiling “I have to go now love!”

“Oh sure, hum…” She paused “Meet you next to the fountain in half an hour?” She paused for about one second “Fine, see you there!”

“Danny, wai-“But she had hanged up already.

It’s not the fact that I didn’t want her to come, I wanted but… Think this through with me… My sister, a clothes fanatic and my best friend, another clothes fanatic, this adds up to… A double feet ache for me! I want her opining and I’m glad she wants to spend her Monday afternoon shopping with me, don’t get me wrong, but… well, I just have to deal with it.

I walked to Marias’ room and knocked. After a loud and troubled ‘come in’ I turned the handle to see my little sister running across the bedroom, struggling to get ready in time. She was finishing pulling her black skirt till her waist. A large white t-shirt covered her chest and reached the middle of her thighs. A pair of ¾ socks were on top of the bed waiting for her, her beanie on top of the black leather jacket, also on top of the bed, next to the socks. I kneeled next to the bed to find a black pair of Christian Louboutin heels waiting for her to get in them.

She finished pulling up the skirt and put it over the shirt, showing off her amazing and thin waist.

“I’m sorry Jo, I got late!” She apologized

“No apologies necessary!” I said, rising up and walking towards her. She was now struggling to put her earrings on.I smiled at her and helped her put the earring correctly before she lost her ear.

“Thanks!” She breathed

“What are big sisters for?” She smiled

I walked towards the bed and gave her the socks and her heels. I stood still for a few seconds, looking at the heels and imagining if mine would be that tall. I haven’t practiced wearing heels. Normally, the morning before the party, my mom gathers all of us downstairs and helps us. Well, normally me and Jess just stay in one corner, eating popcorn and constantly saying ‘we should have picked a better movie’ just to make the girls laugh. This time was different, this time, only Jessica was sat in a corner eating popcorn. I was trying to work in my posture. Because I didn’t have my heels yet I walked bare foot over the ground. I couldn’t borrow anyone’s shoes because, believe it or not, I have the smallest feet of all the women in the house… well, except Jess.
