"I see you're up." He glanced over at me. "I've bandaged your wounds from that crazy battle last night with the, 'mutants.' I figured you could use some water." Hades hands me a glass filled with ice-cold freshness, and slowly, I drank.

My voice had came back, but all I could remember was small flashbacks of what had happened in the last few days. I was disoriented and confused. I was in a small bedroom that looked, too clean to be true. White walls perfectly painted to match the wooden floors. Everything collided nicely together. I was broken from my daze when he spoke again.

"Listen, Christine, I know we've gotten off on a bad start but, I just wanted you to know that I'm here for you. I would like us to start again." He caressed my cheek and lightly pressed his lips against mine.

This time, I enjoyed it. For once in my life, I felt as if everything were right in this crazy world. Never before have I felt true love, this time, I had.

"Hades-" My voice cracked, still somewhat parched and mostly nervous. "I love you."

He hugged me tightly, forcing the air out from my lungs. "I've been waiting to hear that, all my life." I sighed contently knowing that he loved me too.

"You get your rest okay?"

"Can, you sleep with me, tonight, I mean," I was stuttering throughout my words.

"Anything, for you." He laid beside me and I relaxed my head upon his chest, drifting off into sleep.

The following morning I noticed something different. I patted the bed worriedly wondering what had happened to my new-found love. Assumed he had left I got up to use the restroom. I had no idea I was naked all of last night. Many thoughts were going through my head about what thoughts were going through his head about last night. Maybe he didn't mind, I mean, after all it is just the human body right?

I decided a nice hot shower would clean my thoughts just as well as it would clean my body. Hoping he wouldn't mind, I borrowed a towel from a nearby cabinet and stepped into the shower. I adjusted the temperature as needed and began to wash my body. After being cold for so long, the heat relaxed all the tension in my muscles. I turned around and gasped at a naked, chiseled Hades standing before me.

"Enjoying yourself?" He smiled. I quickly covered my lady-bits and pieces.

Hades chuckled, "It's okay love, nothing I haven't seen before. Trust me." He moved my hands and placed them around his waist.

He leaned me up against the shower wall and we began to make long awaited love. It was the uttermost majestical thing I had ever experienced.

As I stepped out of the shower, he patted the wetness from my skin onto his soft towel.

"Thank you." I gazed into his eyes and gave a slight smile.

"You must be starving. I laid some clothes out for you in the bedroom. Try and sit tight for a bit. I'll call you when lunch is ready, okay?" He kissed me and went about his plans while I went to go put on fresh clothing.

He had laid out for me the softest pajamas I had ever felt. I quickly slipped them on and waited for the call.

"Christine, Come now. Lunch is ready." He called from the kitchen.

I quickly walked around trying to find my way throughout his enormous house. Eventually I found my way to the kitchen. He pulled out a chair and motioned for me to sit.

"How was your food?" He wiped his mouth with his napkin.

"You, are an amazing cook Hades." Honestly, his food was astonishing.

"Why thank you. You know, I'm hoping that one day, we will be together as a family."

"Really?" I asked.

"Of course. I love you Christine, I would like to be with you forever." He smiled and arose from his chair.

The front door slammed open and Hades jerked around to see who had intruded.

"I thought I had killed you!" He stood in awe.

"You thought wrong." She jumped in the air and knocked him in the face with her boots. I got up and slid his feet out from under him.

Hades hit the back of his head on the table. Allison pulled a dagger from her holster and jabbed the sharp blade into his skull, piercing his brain. Blood began to pool beneath him.

"Are you okay Christine?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." We gathered what little items I had left and some of his to take for the road. No laws remained in our broken world, what had been theft, was now taking what we needed for our survival.

Allison, before we left, thought it would be a good idea to sever Hades head to insure he had been killed. I agreed, so we put his remain into a baggy and into Allison's backpack.
