"Every thing happens in its own time, my son. We simply can not tamper with the flow. For destiny will always find a way to make anything happen as long as it is what it chooses" That is what my father always says. Back when I was just a kid, I did not exactly understand what he meant but I remember myself agreeing to whatever he says.
It is the quote that he lived by and he hopes that I, as his son, will follow his steps and live a life similar to his. And as I grew older, I slowly come to realize that he was right. He always was. Because in all my life, there was only one thing that I wished for. To be with her. But it seems like destiny was never on my side. And time itself was against me.
So I stood here with a smile on my face and flowers on my hands. I slowly placed them beside her and stared at it for a moment. I took in a deep breath as I close my eyes and said.
"It's been a while, travel buddy."
