I was shaking as I walked behind the hostess in the Korea House, I spotted Hunter sitting in a booth towards the back, we had walked behind some kind of curtain, I guess that there was a private section for celebrities? There was barley anyone back here, only a few people that I didn't recognize. My eyes glanced back on Hunter as he gazed up and saw me, he smiled. "Hey Bailey."

"H-hey Hunter." I scolded myself not to be nervbous, I was only out to eat with a cute, actually wait, correction, a super cute country music superstar.

"How was the cattle run, or herding.. which do you call it again?" He asked, as the hostess set down the menu and I slid into the booth.

"Oh! We call i- well my dad calls it the cattle run, and it was good. We had no trouble running the cattle to the South Pasture, we also went through with no breaks." I answered him, picking up the menu, there was no way I could tell him that I asked for no breaks so I could get here on time. "So.. um.. what did you do today?" I mentally kicked myself, he'd sent me a text message ealier saying that he was in the studio.

"Oh, well this morning I caught up with my parents, then I grabbed some lunch with my record label president and my manager talking about my next album, then I was in the studio up untill a half hour ago, then I ran home to my apartment, changed my clothes and now I'm sitting here about to eat dinner with you." He laughed looking at me. "So tell me about yourself."

"Sure.. what did you want to know about me?" I asked, glancing over the good options, I never did understand the Korean, so I decided just to get a salad.

"Well here, why don't we make it a game. I ask a question about you, then you ask one about me?" He asked.

"Yeah! That sounds fun!" I laughed at him.

"Alright, I'll start thing's off, how old are you?" He asked.

"Seventeen. I'm turning eighteen next month." I answered him.

"Oh cool, so it's your last year of highschool?"

"Yeah, finally, I can't wait to get out of there. Let's see.. oh! What are your parents names?" I asked him taking a sip of the water that the waiter had just set down.

"My parents? There names are Leo and Lynette Hayes." He answered me then laughed. "So if were asking about parents, what about yours?"

"Bill and Miranda Veoli." I answered. "When and where were you born?"

"I was born on September 9th, 1991 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiann. You?"

"Portland, Tennessee, August 18th 1995. Have you always wanted to sing?"

"Well it's always just been a part of my life, I wanted to work on a farm though, I found my love for music at an early age, and I just seemed to know that was the path I had been set on." He answered, but I felt like he was hiding something, which was crazy, mostly because I was just getting to know the guy, so how was I supposed to know if he was hiding or something? "What did you want to do?" He asked, ripping me from my thoughts.

"Oh.. well, when I was younger, I had dreams about becoming a dnacer. My favorite was Salsa dancing, the way that the there bodies moved so fluently and swiftly, I loved it and I danced like that by myself in my room.. I'm not trying to brag but I am or was pretty good. But.. that dream fell away when I realized how much more my families farm meant. It's my dad's dream to keep it up and running. Jason has a dream he wants to chase, I want at least one of us to chase what we love, I love dancing, but I love the farm even more." I said, I wasn't lying again.. I loved the farm and I'd be happy to stay there but.. I did have thoughts about leaving Portland and chasing my dreams. I remember when I was little.. I'd tie a quilt around my waist pretending it was a salsa dancing dress and my dance partner was a teddy bear I'd named Mr. Salza. I'd move and twirl around in my room for hours on end. I'd never told anyone about my love for dancing though, well there was one person who knew, aside from Hunter, it was my brother Jason. I made him promise not to tell mom and dad.

"Well, you'll have to show me your move's some time." Hunter spoke, as I looked up, I saw the remains of a frown that quickly vanished as I looked, and before I could say anything else, the waiter arrived with our food.

"Oh man, that was good." I spoke, putting my fork down, and leaned back against the booth we'd just finished eating, by that point the waiter came by again with the bill. I moved to get money out before Hunter stopped me.

"Dinner's on me." Hunter spoke, handing the waiter a gold master card.

As the waiter walked away I spoke. "Hey! I could have gotten that!"

"I know," He answered looking at me. "but I wanted to get it."

"Now I'm gonna feel guilty." I leaned back further into the booth, pouting.

Hunter laughed at me. "Hey, your cute when you pout Bales." He began laughing again as my face went beat red. "Besides, I never said dinner was free."

I groaned. "What?! I could have paid!"

"I know, but if you would have paid, you wouldn't have said yes to what I want to do with you."

My mind started to wander at what he meant by 'what I wanted to do with you' my face went even redder if possible, I meantally slapped myself. There was no way he'd ask me to do something like that, he had a little more class than that. "A-and wh-what would that be?" I sputtered.

"I want you to go dancing with me tomorrow."

"Wha-?! I couldn't! I'm to short and I've never danced in public! Not even in front of my parents! Plus I'm to short!" That was another reason I'd given up on my dream, I was only five feet four inches, all the dancer's I'd seen were tall with long legs that helped them move gracefully.

"You just said it was an old dream of yours." Hunter reminded me. "And who cares? I'm short too. I'm only five six, I still dance on stage." He went silent for moment. "Either you can go dancing with me tomorrow, or I'll make you go out on stage with me and we can dance there."

I gaped at him. He was being impossible! Either way I looked at it, I had no way of getting out of it, and it was obivious which one I'd pick. "Fine! I'll go dancing with you tomorrow!" I groaned, slumping against the booth, and as if on cue, Hunter laughed.

"I knew it! You'd be to scared to go in front of thousands of people and preform." He kept laughing.

"Well for good reason! Only a crazy person would preform in front of that many people!"

"Oh so I'm crazy?"

"YES!"

Hunter eruppted into even more laughter as I joined him. He always had a smile on his face and an upbeat additude, it was contagious, I felt like when I was around him, I couldn't help but smile, even if I had a bad day. I hopped we could stay on the road of becoming friends... maybe even more.
