It was the first day of 10th grade, I met only two new people so far. Alexandria and Michael. *ring*ring (the bell rang to dismiss us home.) Michael headed towards the tracks. "What are you doing?" I asked. "What do you mean, I'm going home." Michael said weirded out.
"So you take this way too? I've always liked looking into the fresh sparkling water". I said. "Yeah, I live on law avenue, so just like taking the shorter way home, what street do you live on?. Michael asked. "Partway". I replied not knowing what else to say.
"Did anyone forget about me." Alexandria asked. "No you just haven't really said anything". Michael responded. I balanced on the medal part of the tracks walking faster and faster.
Alexandria stopped and looked into the water, her eyes were seeming to daze off. Michael and I walked towards her to see what she was looking at. "Watcha doin?" I asked. "I see beneath the ground can you see it too?" Alex asked. My stomach got tight because I knew if I seen beneath the ground I would end up having to give away my secret.
"Uhm" I said quite quietly. I didn't know if I should tell the truth and say yes or lie and say no, I felt too scared that if my parents found out I gave my secret away I'd be in big trouble. "No, you must be tired from the first day.
" I told her. "What are you talking about Alex? Who really can see beneath the ground?" Michael asked. In my head I said me and obviously her too. "I don't know." Alex said .It was the end of tracks, it was a pretty dusty road with lots of pebbles.
"I have to turn here." I said. "Okay, maybe walk home with eachother again tomorrow?" Michael asked. "Yeah, um sure".
I looked behind me to see if I could still see Michael and Alex walking home, I only saw Alex.
I thought to myself where Michael might be,maybe he turned already.
"HEY!" Michael shouted. "HOLY CRAP, what are you doing?" I asked scared as can be.
"I don't know, can't I come over?" Michael asked confused. " I barely know you, why would my parents allow someone I just met barely know come over?" I asked. "Your parents can't be that over protective, I mean come on." He said. We walked over to my yellow house with a white picket fence. "How do you get this fence to unlock?" Michael confusedly asked. I kinda let out a giggle because who doesn't know how to open a fence.
"Here let me help you, since mr. Michael rilsent doesn't know how to operate it."
I told Michael. "Ahaha, thanks megs." Said Michael. I un latched the fence and we entered the house. "Who's this?" My mom Kathy asked. "Mom, this is Michael, Michael this is my mom Kathy." I replied. "Hello mrs.belger." Michael greeted himself. "Hi Michael, if you kids wanna go upstairs you may." Mother said. I walked up the stairs to my room, and Michael followed.
