I though I knew how love felt
As soon as your eyes made me melt
I couldn't help but stare
At your mesmerizing hair
As if you were sent from above
I suddenly fell in love
Or at least that's what I thought
Until my heart sought
For you to notice me
So I could give you the key
To my rusty old heart
Before it fell apart
But you had already found her
And I turned into a blur
Maybe it was just a dream
But that's not how it seemed
You made my heart fall apart
But I guess I just really wasn't that smart
But to me it seemed worth it
Because you seemed so perfect
