Asano's P. O. V

I was arranging the notes for the next student council meeting when a certain [h/c] girl entered the room. I was happy to see that she seemed more agitated than usual.

Good. If my calculations were correct, she would be willing to cooperate by lunch time. My calculations were never wrong but this happened to be [y/n].

Who knows what's going on in that girl's head?

Your P. O. V

You sat quietly as the morning lessons went by, trying your best not to hide your agitation. If Asano noticed your behaviour, he would be sure to take advantage of it.

You prided yourself on being able to stay calm and collected during your investigations, but you couldn't help bit feel this was different. You were asked to investigate what the connection of your former friends with a yellow octopus was.

It all sounded so bizarre, yet it wasn't too bizarre to be true.

You tighten your trip on the pen. It would be lunch time soon and you could interrogate Asano then.

(Time skip~)

When the bell signalling lunch rang, you packed up your things as quickly as you could and whipped up your bento box. The fangirls would be asking Asano to eat lunch with them anytime now and you had to beat them to it.

"Would you like to eat lunch together, Gakushuu-san? " you asked him as sweetly as you could, trying to brush off the death stares coming from the fangirls- you were so dead.

"Sure." he gave you his signature smile and you felt the glares intensify by at least 47%.

You bit your lip as you walked out with him. You weren't planning to be friendly with the people in the A class, but you've heard the very true rumours (you've investigated it out of curiousity ) of what the fangirls did to the last girl that got too close with their beloved 'Asano-sama'.

"This should be okay." the strawberry blonde had brought you to a quiet area of the campus, away from everybody's eyes and ears.

"You really know the building well, don't you?"

"It's important to know your terrain in order to use it against your enemies, is it not?" the boy next to you had what you could only describe as a murderous look in his eyes- this was the principals son alright.

"Whatever, Asano- sama." you put a mocking emphasis on the last part.

"I thought I told you to call me by my first name..." the strawberry blonde placed his face was directly in front of yours, his violet orbs looking straight into your [e/c] eyes.

"Fine! " you couldn't help but feel flustered as you moved yourself away from him.

You swore that you saw a smirk on his face before he turned serious.

"I see you've taken up my theory."

You nodded, there was nothing you could lose by playing along with him.

"I heard that you have a childhood friend in the E class," Asano said, a malicious gleam in his eyes.
"Nakamura Rio, was it? "

"I'm not letting you go near her! " Rio was your friend for years and you weren't going to ruin your friendship with something as stupid as the wishes of the principal's son.

"I didn't say anything... " Gakushuu was thoroughly enjoying this now.
"I was just giving you a few hints to push you along with the investigation. You do know there are ways to get information without hurting people, right? " he taunted you.

"Fine. " you hated people mocking the work you did as a detective. "I'll do it."

"Good." he handed you more files of information and turned to leave.

"I almost forgot! " he turned around.
"The A class is going to have study sessions I told the virtuosos that you would help out. "

You tried to find the words to answer, but couldn't. Since when did you become one of his minions?!

"I'd study a bit more if I were you" the strawberry blonde gave you a smirk before walking away, leaving you at a loss for words.

You've reached the end of published parts.
