Michael groaned and Erik helped him down to a sit. Erik smiled at us. It was a sad and apologetic. I handed him a cup of water but as soon as the glass touched his finger tips...it froze. Erik shrugged it off with a gloomy nod. "Superpowers?" The Alpha spoke shaking his head. "I've heard of this as myths and legends but to it to be actually real..." He paused. "I've always knew...but to see in real life..." His eyes widen in wonder. "Dad." Conall warned.
"Yeah....it seems like so..." Michael whispered. He looked really bad. Zombie bad. "I had...a dream...." He tried to continue but couldn't. "The Moon Goddess has visited us, most of us I'm sure." Erik spoke up in his stead. He glanced at his mate lovingly and smiled gently. Michael tried to return it. He failed...with a face of twisted pain.
"She had warned us of a bigger upcoming war." Conall and I nodded. "So who was gifted with powers?" I asked. You could've cut the tension with a knife. "For now, you, Conall, Erik, Michael, Lloyd, Maria, Chad, Reika, and me. Maybe Lloyd and what's-his-face." Leo spoke smugly. He walked over to us with a grin plastered in his face. Whatever power he might possessed, he seems quiet happy about it.
Reika walked in behind him shyly. We all kind of waited but none of the two spoke. "So...?" Conall urged them to speak. "What?" He asked cluelessly. Reika face palmed himself and gently pushed him to the side to step up. "Our powers! They mean our powers Leo!" "Oh!" He smiled and grinned at us. Looks like someone has short term memory.
"Well, aren't you going to say anything!?" I questioned. "Reika has the powers of healing and making herb plants grow from the palm of his hands?" He sounded unsure. Maybe he got it wrong. "It's really weird actually but anything to do with healing he can do it. I have the powers of fire and heat. Basically anything hot!" He winked and nodded his head smugly. Michael shuddered. "Please refrain from thinking dirty thoughts please."
With those words the tension was released and everyone laughed. "What were you thinking?" I asked Leo. He shook his head and shrugged. "It's not for little kids to know." He looked at his mate. Reika looked away with a furious blush in his face. "So how does this work?" Conall interrupted. Party-pooper. The tension was thick again.
<Simple, we just need to know who has powers, what powers they are, and train like mad.>
Leo gasped. "He was telepathy!?" He shook his head. "That's so cool!" "Yeah, and I have the powers of ice, snow, and probably water but I haven't tested it out yet. But yeah, Ice none the less." Erik smiled, itching to test out his magical skills. He looked tired but a childish gleam sparkled in his eyes. And then it was hell on earth. It was chaos! Leo and Erik started their magic show of elemental powers while the rest of us tired to calm them down.
Michael tried to stop his mate but he ended up getting pushed, crashing onto Reika, who started to bleed because of a shattered glass the broke while they crashed to the ground. His eyes were wide. Leo shot him a fireball and Erik sliced the air, sending a wave of ice to counterattack. "THAT"S ENOUGH!" Conall yelled in an Alpha tone. Everyone froze to their spot. I took over. "Everyone...cool your heads. It's been a long day." I paused, I know it was still morning. "Everyone take a break. Get familiar with your powers and tell us what exactly it is. We need it for the up coming war. We can't fight an enemy together if our enemy is among ourselves." I spoke after the long silence.
They nodded at me and dispersed.
Later, Maria and Chad walked over to Conall and I. They smiled sheepishly. "Hey." She said. I smiled and nodded. "So...umm...the power thing." Chad gave my mate a small nod. "Umm...it seems as if I can make fogs/mists/reflection? And Chad and make people get lost by altering their decisions. We're not very sure but I think it's a defensive power. Its a power that's works very well together." Ruelle, our Alpha, shot up from his seat. He had a light bulb thing going on.
As new powers emerged, the more chances of us winning seemed more possible. With Maria's power we can hold of the enemy, with Chad's we can have them lost within the mists. And so on. Everything was starting to play in motion. It seemed as if everyone who are supposed to have powers figured it out by the end of the day except me. Even Conall already received it.
"Don't feel discouraged, love. I'm sure you're just tired, plus your energy is still unstable remember?" I saw his logic. Since I just became a full pledge werewolf, my energy is unstable with all of the changes going on. Plus. we just mated so...double whoop. Basically all I'm saying is that my body and energy is confused with all of the news strengths coming in for being full pledged and being mated, so having powers just messed up the charts more.
I smiled to him and he kissed me. A small blush tainted his cheeks and I kissed him. Someone coughed. "It's me, Jack." We turned around like guilty little children who got caught pulling a prank. "What is it?" Conall asked him. He sighed and spoke. "It seems as if all of my wolf senses are heightened. I can see things more clearer, as in miles and miles clearer, and I can feel beings move about and tell their location. I'm not very sure." I spoke up. "How did you find this out?"
"I was walking in the woods when my stomach grumbled. I was really hungry and I thought about how nice it would be to eat rabbit meat. My ears suddenly heard the movements of that of a hare. I thought it was near by but it wasn't. I listened carefully and finally figured out it's direction. I stared passed through the woods and miles beyond to see a hare hopping to a blueberry bush. I can see it move, I could hear it, and I could feel it." He stared at his hands. "A Hunter." A voice popped up. It was Conall's grandmother! "The Moon Goddess had chosen you to be the Hunter. The same goes for Lloyd. I met him just a while ago. He is a Tracker."
She smiled at us. "It seems as if you have a lot of homework to catch up on."
Sorry everyone, it's been edited yet. I know that it has been a while but I've been busy. I'll even be busy again tomorrow. I'm going to a hiking trip for the Botany club and JROTC. It should be fun?
