A Trip to Borneo

Chapter 2 : The excitement grows!!

The excitement was growing. I could hardly contain it. The tickets had been sent to my best friends. It was a week until our trip to Borneo and each one my friends had accepted the invite and had started packing.

Time skip : one week
Once again my alarm clock rang and I jumped out of bed with excitement, I got dressed and went downstairs to see my dad cooking something.
"What's this?"  I asked him while looking around him.
"Breakfast, since I won't see you for 4 weeks I've decided to make you..........PANCAKES!!" He exclaimed while flipping the golden-brown pancake and then scooping it onto my plate. I smiled and carried my breakfast to the table. After I finished it I put my shoes on and picked up my suitcase.
"Are we ready to go?" My dad asked me with a smile.
"Yes, lets go" I replied.
We walked out the door into the car and we drove to the airport.
As we arrived I spotted Emily, Ella and Cora waiting with their parents so I ran out the car and hugged them. I ran back to the car pulled out my suitcase and then I waited til one by one each person came. All of the people I invited were Emily, Ella, Cora, Kiera, Andrea, Warren, Isla, Alfie and Sam.
We waved our parents good bye and boarded the jet. I was sitting next to Emily and keira.
"I am really nervous" keira whispered to me.
"Why? Haven't you been on a plane before?"
"Actually I haven't" replied kiera "and I'm really scared we will crash or something"
"I have been on too many airplanes to know nothing bad will happen"
Keira smiled at me and nodded
"Okay thanks I'm still a bit nervous though"
I smiled at her. I must have fallen asleep after that because the next I knew keira woke my up saying
"The airplanes shaking what do we do?"
"Its just turbulence, just the wind" I explained
She looked me in the eyes, took a deep breath and then smiled.
I leaned back to rest again. Until I heard a deafening BANG!!!
