She is coming straight towards me. Ethan can't do anything about it because he is obviously on the phone. I'll just have to do it myself. She grabs my hair and punches me in the face. I feel blood coming out of my nose.

I flip her into the floor and I kick her straight in her mouth. I see a bit of tooth chip off. Oops. Grayson finally sees what's happening and he grabs Bethany. She tries to get away from him but he's too strong.

I punch her in the face three more times. Then Grayson tells me to stop. I look back and Bethany is knocked out. Ethan gets off the phone and he says the police are coming.

The police come and they tell us that Bethany needs to go to the hospital. They also tell me that I need to go to hospital to get my nose checked out. So we go to the hospital and we have been separated from Bethany. We go to see a doctor. Ethan comes in with me but Gray has to wait outside.

They do a load of tests and I'm quite scared tbh. They sit us down again, and they tell us the news.
"So, good news. You don't have anything wrong it's just going to hurt for a while and it's going to be scratched up. But, the girl who is also here, well she has a bad brain bleed called an Epidural brain bleed. We didn't think that it would be this bad but it has gotten worse, which means harder to control. Unfortunately, this could mean death."

When he says that I look at Ethan. I feel tears filling my eyes. He hugs me.
"Were you close?" The doctor asks us. I let Ethan explain.
"Not exactly. She's my ex, but we don't get on." He says. I feel quite bad for Bethany. Even though she tried to kill me, I still feel bad for her. And knowing I did it to her...

We get out the hospital and I don't want to talk to anyone. We drive all the way home and it's 6:46pm. We get in the flat and I go straight in the room. Ethan comes in after me.
"I.. uh, never knew you could fight like that..." he starts saying.
"Yeah, me neither. Ethan, what am I gonna do?!" I say. I sit on the bed and I face away from him. He sits next to me.
"It wasn't your fault. She started on you first."
"That's not the point! She could die and it'll all be my fault." I cry and Ethan puts his arm around me.

Next day...

I wake up next to Ethan, asleep. I get out of bed and I get ready. Ethan wake up when I'm putting my shoes on.
"Where're you going?" He asks me.
"Oh, umm, just going out somewhere with Charlotte." I lie.
"What at... 7:55am?" He says. I smile and he asks me an awkward question.
"Are you going to see Bethany?" He asks. I look down and I nod.

I get out the flat and I make my way to the hospital. I get there and I ask for Bethany's name. They take me to her. I see her in her bed. She's awake. I go in and she looks at me. Not gonna lie it was a bit awkward.

"What do you want?" She says quite mad.
"I came to er, say sorry."
"What for? Stealing my boyfriend or doing this to me?" She says. I see that she is getting upset.
"Both." I say quietly. She lets me sit down next to her.
"Why did you do all of this to me?" I ask all of a sudden. I didn't mean to ask it just came out.

"Okay. So, after Ethan dumped me. He didn't tell me why. Then I found out he left me because of you. I still loved Ethan, a lot. I just wanted him back." I'm feeling really sorry for her now. She's crying. "I wanted you gone. So I tried to, you know."
I put my head down and I feel tears rolling down.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know." I say, still crying.

She smiles slightly. What?!
"Maybe Ethan is happy with you." She says. I look at her confused.
"Really?"
"Yeah. I'm sorry for everything." She says. What the hell is going on?! I smile at her. She smiles back. She leans in for a hug so I hug her. Ethan comes in.

"Ummm? Okayyyy..." He says. Bethany smiles at him.
"Ethan I'm so sorry. I see that you really love Connie. I hope we can be friends." He nods and hugs her. She leans back from Ethan's hug. She just stares into space. I keep on saying her name, but she isn't answering. Not even moving.
"Ethan, get the doctor." I say quietly. Ethan runs to get the doctor and she still isn't moving.

The doctors run in and me and Ethan are told to get out of the room. We go back in a couple of minutes and she is fine.
"I get the news in a minute." Bethany whispers sadly. I look at Ethan. He puts his arm around me
"It's all gonna be fine don't worry." He whispers to me. Perfect timing. The doctor comes in. I face the door and I see him. I turn away from him and I take a breath.
