I hadn’t seen Louis all night. I wanted to thank him for everything. I went to the only place I felt I’d find him; where the food was. I walked up but he wasn’t alone.
“Hey LuLu” I smiled
“Caitykins” He looked out the window as I stood beside him with the girl standing with him
“Everything cool” I asked
“Yeah, absolutely” He still wouldn’t look at me
“No, don’t lie to her. She is the birthday girl” A familiar voice spoke
“Sarah?” I smiled
“Hey girly”
“What’s up with Sally Sunshine?” I put my hands on Louis’ shoulders
“He’s not in a good mood”
“Clearly” I laughed
“Go away Cait” Lou moaned
“Should I?” I asked Sarah quietly
“No, no stay. Louis just tell her!” She shook his arm
“Fine” Lu turned around and looked me in the eye. “She dumped me” He walked away
“Hold on” I pulled him back but he just dragged me into a room and slammed the door
“Lu” I said quietly putting my hand on his shoulder as he sat and buried his head in his hands. “Don’t be sad” I sat on his lap like a baby
“Tell me what happened”
“Well I went to go and talk to her. I wanted to tell her how I felt”
“What did you feel?”
“I felt like I didn’t want to lose her”
“Then what happened”
“She said it didn’t matter how I felt because I half broke up with her over the phone. She said I was being dog.”
“That’s a bit far”
“I know, like what else was I supposed to do? I can’t pretend with her. I want her to know exactly how I felt about her. But she won’t listen”
“So you felt like you wanted to break up with her and now you want her back?” I summarised
“Ah, when you say it you may as well lock me up in a mental institution.”
“I think Aunty Jo tried that when you were a kid. Didn’t work” I laughed
“Your right. But what do you think?” At this point Harry had walked in
“I think, you still have me, and the boys, and family and...”
“And me” Harry interrupted and he sat on me
“BOY! You’re fat” Louis yelled laughing at Harry. “Like Caitlin was heavy enough and now you join in. Bro try a diet?” He laughed as they wrestled
“My boys” I hugged them both from on the floor.
