Chapter 16

Today is my seven month pregnancy mark, and the baby is due any day. My back hurts, a lot, but I know all of this pain will be worth it.

Tobias and I are excited, and we already set everything up. He built the crib, and I bought all the baby toys.

When I wake up, I feel a sharp pain in my back, but don't make anything of it. I've usually had back pains, but that one was more painful.

I stay in bed, because the doctor told me I was on strict bed rest. I usually sleep in anyways, today eleven o'clock a.m., and go to bed around five p.m., so that isn't a big deal. I want to stay in bed anyways.

Tobias likes to stay in bed with me, but he usually can't sleep in. But today, he's nowhere to be seen. I start to panic, thinking that Edward might have killed him, but them he opens the door, and says,"I got you food." Relieved, I say,"Thanks, Tobias."

I start to eat, and Tobias lies next to me. I turn on the T.V., and start to watch professional zip-lining. They are doing back flips, front flips, and twisting in mid air. "Hey Tobias, I think you'd love to try that." I point at the screen, and start to laugh. "Uh..No," he says, while laughing.

When we finish eating, I say,"Tobias, I'm scared. What happens if the birth doesn't go right? What if-" "You're going to be fine, Tris. I'll be here for you, in matter what." I nod, but I still don't exactly feel relieved.

We lie in bed all day, talking about how excited we are for the twins, and how we will raise them, and what we will do after they are born. My stomach feels weird, but it know it will feel like this until I give birth. Tobias puts his hand on my stomach, and whispers,"Hi Alex and Olivia, this is your daddy, and I can't wait until you're born. I love you both very much." Then, he kisses my stomach. I laugh, and say,"You're going to be the best dad ever." He smiles, and says,"You're going to be the best mom ever." We kiss, and I say,"I love you, Tobias." "I love you too, Tris." Then, I fall asleep in his arms, hoping the twins will be here soon.
