In this rp Sophie is still project moonlark and lived with the humans until she was twelve. She lived with the Vackers until she was 15 which was when Alvar was killed by the neverseen and the Vacker family went into grieving. Alden is the fatherly figure in her life and they're very close. She and Biana are still besties, even though now two years later, Biana and her parents aren't the same as they were before Alvar's death. Because Alden lost his only known son, the council gives him less emissary work, which makes it easier on Sophie, who has taken over his emissary work so when he's ready he can get back to his normal life/job, and has him sign the papers.
Once Alvar died, Sophie studied hard and managed to graduate from Foxfire early so she could handle emissary work as well as accept the positions of Ambassador to the Black Swan for the council/Ambassador to the Council for the Black Swan. Sophie and her friends had always done a lot of Black Swan field work from day one, trying to keep peace with the council, protect humans, and defeat the neverseen for good, but now Sophie has taken on more missions, either solo or accompanied by Dex, who has become her right hand man. She only takes Biana and Keefe on missions where she absolutely needs them, because she knows that Biana is grieving, and because she wants to protect Keefe.
Because the Ruwens and the Vackers are so close, Jolie was like an older sister to Sophie, who really looked up to her. Jolie wasn't revealed to be a spy until a while after Alvar's death, but they still keep in touch for business and strategic taunts only.
Even after all these years Sophie doesn't know who her biological parents are. She has tried asking the Black Swan before who just shut her down and say that they can't tell her. In recent days, she has come to accept that she'll never know who her real parents are.
When Sophie was leaving the forbidden cities at 12, her human parents' memories of her were erased, but Amy was at a sleepover when it happened, so she still remembered Sophie. On a mission two years later to the forbidden cities, Sophie runs into Amy, who still remembers her and is so glad she's not crazy after all (about her existing and all) and they decide to keep in touch secretly with modified imparters, and Sophie visiting her once a month. They go out to eat and it's Amy's favorite day of the month. She loves and is so proud of Sophie, and when Sophie is 17, tries to get her to meet two of her human friends Cara and Fitz, leading to this whole rp.
Sophie has no romantic inclinations st the present.
