Still has crummy parents, but they affected him differently than in the books. He's quieter and really empathetic. He's not afraid to show his emotions and is Sophie's confidante while she is his. He really makes an effort to make her happy, and accepts when she doesn't want him on tough missions because he understands why she does it. It's to keep him safe and he's thankful for that. He makes sure her life runs smoothly when she's in a pinch and is a really good home-base support. He knows basic first aid CPR just in case (cough cough because Sophie is reckless cough cough cough cough) and when Sophie comes back from a mission, has Elwin on speed dial. Tbh Keefe makes everything easier for Sophie to go off and do her thing while still have a life.
Keefe has already graduated the elite levels and is currently being trained to be a therapist since he's a good listener, and an empath. Mimicking also helps with his job, quoting things back to patients so they can hear themselves. Finally taught Sophie how to mimick three years ago and now she's almost as good as him. Sometimes they have mimick-offs for fun.
Oh yeah, and Biana isn't the only character with a MASSIVE crush. Keefe has an ENORMOUS crush on Sophie for the past three years but he's too afraid to tell her and she has no idea.
