You had such a long day at school today. You had revised and studied your ass off for your exams today but you still had some doubt as to whether you did well or not. You were so stressed out, you were sure your hair was starting to fall out. You went back to your apartment hoping to be to able to get some more studying done for your exams tomorrow.
You shared an apartment with your boyfriend, Ten. But you were alone most of the time because he was a famous idol in a group called NCT. He was usually at their dorms a majority of the time so you rarely saw him. You lived away from your parents as you decided to go to a college away from your hometown. You didn't want to disappoint them since they were wary to send you by yourself and are sending you quite a bit of money for school.
Ten would sometimes attend your college classes but you shared a little amount and he was usually busy with his members anyway.
You had unlocked the doors to your apartment and saw there was a bag in the middle of the bed. Your first instinct was that your boyfriend had came back to the apartment, and you were right. Ten had appeared from the closet with a bunch of his clothes.
'What are you doing?' You asked, noticing he was putting all his belonging inside the bag. 'I'm just taking some of my things to the dorm. I don't think I'll be able to stay here as much with recent activities and I'm required to be at SM Entertainment a lot more now. I'm having a solo comeback for SM Station!' He said smiling. 'Oh that must be good for you. Weren't you saying how it felt like you hadn't promoted in ages?' You asked, trying to sound happy for him when realistically you were really upset.
You didn't want your boyfriend to leave you. It was really upsetting being alone all the time. The only thing you look forward to is coming home to sometimes find Ten making ramen, or sleeping. But now you didn't have that to look forward to, and that made you feel horrible.
Ten hummed in agreement at your previous question. He seemed excited for this comeback and there was no way you were going to come in the way of that. 'I've been looking for jobs recently. To help my parents with money, since they're always sending it here. So I'll be away from home a lot more as well,' you said trying to encourage him, even though you didn't want him to go. You knew Ten loved you and that he'd never do anything he wasn't supposed to. But you also knew that his career had to come before your needs in the relationship.
~time skip~
You hardly ever saw Ten these days. Apart from when he was promoting his new song, Dream in a Dream, during concerts and music shows. You were happy he got to do what he loved but you were stuck there by yourself with a shitty job and an education to maintain as well. It almost seemed unfair to you.
You were on the couch watching one of Ten's performances. 'Hmmmm' you hummed at the thought of him being so happy on that stage. You decided to take the tv off since you couldn't take anymore torture. 'I should just probably get back to studying,' you said to yourself.
You made your way upstairs and sat at your desk. Your phone vibrated and you got a message from Ten.
Y/N-ah. I'm free this afternoon if you wanted to meet up. Let's go to the park and have a picnic. I'll meet you in an hour xxx
~ Sure I'd love to meet up with you. See you in an hour xxx
You propped up out your chair and headed towards your closet. You were choosing what to wear when you found the perfect thing. It was a nice cream sweater with a grey scarf, a black skirt and some black stockings. You let your hair down and put on some cute black shoes.

When you got to the park you saw Ten waiting for you on a blanket. You sat down next to him and he grabbed in you into his arms. He was bear hugging you, or in your case suffocating you. 'I've missed you so much!' He said with his arms around your waist and face in the crook of your neck. 'I've missed you too!' You said, smiling widely at how warm it felt to be in his arms again. You hugged for quite some time before Ten pulled away to give you something to eat. 'I hope you haven't eaten anything' he said, searching for something in the basket. 'No I was just studying for most of the day' you said.
After you had ate the food you decide to go on a stroll through the park. 'The blossoms look lovely!' You exclaimed. The sight was truly breathtaking but Ten had seemed to be focused on a different piece of scenery. 'You look even lovelier baby' he said wrapping his hands around your waist. You blushed at his generous comment and wrapped your arms around his neck to give him a hug. However, Ten had grabbed your chin before you could place your head on his shoulders and had brought it up towards his face. He lightly pressed his lips against yours, in a kiss that was so full of passion and innocence.
When you pulled away your noses were still touching before he pecked yours. You laughed at his goofy actions and held his hand before dragging him away. Your arms were swinging back and fourth slightly whilst your were walking along the path. Even though you and Ten barely saw each other, moments like these made it worth the wait.
