"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together" ~ Marilyn Monroe

Scarlet POV (Past)

The day I met him he was sitting across the table with the other boys. "What's your name darling?" He asked looking at my poster that he was signing.

"Scarlet." I replied. He looked up to meet my blue eyes and he smiled.

I and Sydney were the last ones there.

Kind of.

There were like three more girls behind us. We took a picture with them and were on our way. On the way out I was looking at the poster smiling looking at the signatures of all five of them.

Next to Harrys name was an x and then his number. I stopped right in my tracks and squinted.

Am I seeing this correctly I asked myself.

I didn't know whether it was my imagination or reality so I asked Syd.

"Syd what is this?" I asked her pointing to the numbers she screeched that high pitch scream no one can stand because it's painful to the ears. So I will take that as I got his number.

After that every time he would come to Paris we would hang out and I would surprise him at concerts sometimes.

About three months later we were dating. The only problem was that he always moved and every time he left I only missed him more. We were that type of couple that never really got into an argument. While we were dating the only argument we got into was about a rumor with him and Taylor Swift.

After I passed away he's been with girls not dating but at night yes.

Audrey POV (present)

I wake up on Jake's comfortable bed. I feel so bad taking his room I shouldn't have listened to him.

The sun was bright, too bright.

I laid in bed a little longer until my phone went off.

I groaned at the noise and laziness not wanting to reach for it. But, I did anyways.

"Hello?" I answered without looking at the caller.

"Morning sunshine." Jake's voice sounded at the other end of the line. "Your shift is in an hour. There's really no dress code as long as it's appropriate and not slutty."

"Ok" I replied.

"I'll have a coffee and muffin ready for you."

"Ok thank you" he knows me so well already well only the non-fucked up part of my life.

"You're welcome" he replies and he hangs up I get up and shower to get ready. (Outfit on the side).

I grabbed my phone/ wallet. I stuck the money I needed and everything else in my phone case which is a wallet.

I take a picture of my clothes and send it to Jake to make sure it's good.

Jake

That's fine.

I responded with a smiley face.

Since the café was only a couple of blocks from Jake's I walked.

When I got there at least 45 minutes later there was an elderly couple drinking coffee and looking out the window. A teen couple that look around 16 eating and drinking laughing. There were a couple of kids alone studying, writing, and reading which made me curious as to why in café.
