All I could see was darkness, slowly a slither of light caught my eye. Slowly my blurry vision came into focus. I could feel sand underneath me and the repetitive sound of the waves crashing down on the shore. I stood up and scanned my surroundings to realise I was on an island. I looked around searching for someone, anyone.
Isla's P.O.V
I woke up to a strong pain in my leg. I looked down to see my left knee covered in blood. My mind was racing 'where am I? Where is everyone else?' I looked up at the sky to see a trail of smoke where the aeroplane had been flying. I followed to trail in the sky until it disappeared in the sea. I started to look along the shore to search for a survivor until in the distance I spotted a speck. It came closer til the speck became a blob, which became a figure, which became a person. I identified them. It was Maddi.
"MADDI!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
She ran to me and hugged me. She smiled then looked at my knee.
"What happened to your knee??!!" She asked
"I don't know" I answered "I woke up and it was all messed up, I can walk on it but it really hurts." I said looking down at the blood covered leg.
"We need to find someone who can stop the blood" Maddi said "Lets look around"
"I can't walk on it very good Maddi, I can't come with you, I will just slow you down." I explained
"Okay but stay here"
"I won't go anywhere"
Maddi ran off into the distance and I was left there alone.
Maddi's P.O.V
"I won't go anywhere" Isla said
I ran off in search for someone who could help her, I needed someone fast otherwise Isla could die from blood loss. In the distance some palm trees were sheltering clothes and pieces of the aeroplane. I ran to the trees as quick as I could to see Cora searching in the suitcases.
"Cora! Quick Isla's leg is bleeding badly do you know how to stop the blood?"
" Oh my god!! where is she??" Cora said, picking up a piece of clean cloth and stuffing it in her pocket.
"Follow me"
I led her to Isla who was in the shade of a tree trying to dab up the blood.
"Isla! It's alright I'll help you"
Cora took the piece of cloth out her pocket and tied it securely to the top of Isla leg to stop the blood flow.
" That should do it" Cora said while sighing and gently dabbing the extra blood on her leg away.
