Alderheart opened his eyes. He blinked in confusion. Why wasn't he in his nest? How did he end up near the the edge of Thunderclan territory next to Windclan territory. The river beside him splashed a little against the walls of the river. He looked up into the night sky that was covered by a think blanket of clouds. His heart sadden that he couldn't see the stars. The young tom wondered if the cats he lost was watching over him.
Then heard heard a bloodcurdling yowl pierced through the night. Alderheart jumped to his feet and looked to where the yowl came from. His blood turned cold as ever hair on his pelt stood up from the sight. On the other side of the river, a gray and white she-cat laid limp. Her lifeless eyes stared at Alderheart. The back of her head bled ingot he forming pool."Furzepelt...." The tom backs away slowly. He heard a voice unfamiliar to him screamed in his head, "WhY DiD'NT yOu SAve ME!?"
Alderheart then whispered,"I am sorry! I only noticed you the last second!" He backed away and heard a hiss from behind him,"Honestly, you think you are not at fault, but you are!" The dark ginger tabby turned to see he was in Thunderckn camp now. Purdy laid of the ground dead. However, Alderpaw can hear the elder's unusual harsh voice in his ear,"I told you that I was hurting, but you were all to busy with other cats that weren't part of your clan! You could have help me!"
Alderheart whimpered from the harsh words,"I am sorry! Please! I am sorry!" His tail tucked in between his legs."You told me you were going to be fine!" Then a new voiced sounded from behind him. "Obviously, it did not turn out that way!"
Alderheart turned to see was in the temporary camp he made on his first journey on the quest to find Skyclan. Where his grandmother, Sandstorm, died from infection. The pale ginger she-cat laid in front of him, with her shoulder bleeding. She heard her voice growl inside his mind, "You are a failure! You couldn't save Skyclan and you failed to save me before my time! I could have lived longer if you weren't such a coward! I was being kind to you by saying it was my time, but that was a lie! You are a disgrace to Fireatar's legacy! You did no deserve such kindness from me!"
Alderheart heart broke the harsh words. His ears flattened and he felt tears form from his amber eyes. In the corner of his eyes, he saw Twigpaw heard to the thunderpath."No! Twigpaw! Come back!" Alderheart wailed for his best friend. He got to his paws and ran after her. However, no matter hard he tried to run after her, he get like wasn't going anywhere. He heard a voice in his head that sounded like Twigpaw, "Thanks to your forgetfulness, you forgot all about me! You told everyone about you vision and that led her to my death! You were suppose to my friend and you betrayed me! You led your loved ones and everyone you meet to their death!"
Then Alderpaw saw a monster coming fast towards the young gray she-cat about to hit her. Alderheart wailed,"NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!"
Alderheart woke up with a jolt, panting hard. His vision I blurry with thick tears streaming down from his eyes. His body shook like he came out from the lake in the middle of leaf bare. He looked around frantically as shapes of grays, browns, and gold surrounded him and speaking to him.
He recognized those voices.
"Alderheart! Are you okay?" 'Leafpool...'
"Was it a vision?" 'Willowshine...'
"He looked like he had a nightmare." 'Mothwing...'
"Should we get Squirrelflight or his sister or even Bramblestar?" 'Briarlight...'
"No, he needs space to breathe first. It is already too crowded in here. More cats may cause stress." 'Jayfeather....'
"Jayfeather... He needs support right now too." He heard Leafpool meowed softly. "Especially family."
