Chapter 6: The Lab

Trrriiiiiinnngggg

Finally! You get up from your seat and grab your stuff as fast as you can before Mr. Asshole can talk to you.

Brad:
"Hey Delphine, can you give me your number?"

Delphine:
"Why?"

Brad:
"Maybe we can hang out sometime?"

Delphine:
"I'm kind of in a rush right now so i'll give it to you some other time."
You really don't want to hang out with this guy.

Brad:
"Okay, see you tomorrow."

You nod at him and walk out of the classroom. You almost bump into Cosima.

Cosima:
"Wow Delphine, why are you in such a rush?"

Delphine:
"Well, i reall wanted to get out if that classroom away from a jerk that wants my phine number."

Cosima:
"Who is the jerk?"

Delphine:
"I think his name was Brad."

Cosima:
"Oh yeah, i thought that. He's like the player of the school. The weird thing is  that he's not popular or doesn't have many friends. He's a pretty okay guy if you get to know him.

Delphine:
"Okay, i'll give him a change."

Cosima:
"Are we gonna go now?"

Delphine:
"Yeah sure. I'm starving."

Cosima:
"Me too. Let's go."

She grabs your wrist and pulls you trought the hallway. She let's go and opens a double door.

Cosima:
"This is the cafeteria. The food is pretty good. You're lucky. It's pizza today.

Cosima walks inside and waves at Scott and his friends who are sitting at a table in the back.

You follow her to the table.

Cosima:
"Hey, can we sit with you guys?"

Scott:
"Why not?"

You and Cosima go get your food. You get to know each other a little more untill the bell rings.

Cosima:
"I'm not ready for another 3 hours of school."
She looks at a paper that seems to be her schedule. "What class do you have?" She looks at you.

Delphine:
"I think i had history."

Cosima:
"Me too! And you Scott?"

Scott:
"I got history too. I am so not ready for this." You and Cosima chuckle.

Cosima:
"Let's go then."

Trrrriiinnngggg

Finally! School is over. It's been a really long first day.

You, Scott and Cosima walk out of the classroom and head to the entrance of the school.

Scott:
"Meet me at my house at 6pm."

Cosima:
"Why?"

Scott:
"I wanna show Delphine what i showed you when we became friends."

Cosima:
"Ooo!"

Delphine:
"What are you gonna show me? I'm curious."

Cosima:
"We are not gonna tell you yet. It's a surprise."

Delphine:
"I really don't like surprises."

Cosima:
"I'm still not gonna tell you."

You look at Cosima with your puppy eyes.

Cosima:
"I can barely resist those puppy eyes but i'm still not gonna tell you anything."

Delphine:
"Okay, i guess i just have to wait then."

Cosima smiles at you and nods. "Yep."
You all go home. You and Cosima walk back together.

Delphine:
"Uh, i have a question about the clone club."

Cosima:
"Ask whatever you want. You are a member of the clone club now."

Delphine:
"I thought that was only for clones."

Cosima:
"Nah, not really. Felix, Sarah's foster brother is a member ofthe clone club too. Scott is also kind of in it."

Delphine:
"So, do Sarah, Alison and Helena live with you?"

Cosima:
"Oh god no! Sarah and Felix live with their foster mother: Mrs S. Helena is staying with them for now and Alison lives with her parents. My parents are on a vacation with my grandparents so i decided that i could just let them come over."

Delphine:
"When are they coming back?"

Cosima:
"Probably tomorrow. Alison probably already left. Sarah and Helena are gonna leave tomorrow."

Delphine:
"Do their parents know about clone club?"

Cosima:
"Yeah, Mrs S does but Alison's parents don't. Helena's parents are dead. She never really got to see them. Helena and Sarah are twins tho. It's all complicated but you'll get used to it."

Delphine:
"Wow, okay. It is indeed complicated."

You walk a little further until you reach your house.

Delphine:
"Do you wanna come over for diner?"

Cosima:
"Are your parents okay with that?"

Delphine:
"Sure."

Cosima:
"Then i would love to."

Cosima smiles at you and walks to her front door. Oh god, her smile is so beautiful. You feel like there's something more them friendship coming.
