Melody

"I'm sorry Mel. I'm breaking up with you."

"Wh-What?"

"I don't love you anymore."

"Ganun na lang ba Lee? After 2 years nang pagsasama natin, ganyan na lang kadalai para sayo?"

"I'm sorry."

"Bakit Lee?! Bakit biglaan? Lee I love you!"

"I'm sorry Melody. I love someone else."

"Sino?! Yung bestfriend mo ba? Si Ashley?"

"Leave her out of this!"

I was shocked. That was the first time he raised his voice at me.

I feel a lump in my throat but I forced myself not to cry in front of this liar.

"Melody. Just forget me. Forget everything we've gone through."

And with that he left.

Nilabas ko na ang mga luha na kanina ko pang' gusto ilabas.

Ang sakit sakit.

He was my first love. My first boyfriend. And the first one to break my heart.

Lumabas na ako ng school at pumasok na sa sasakyan ko at doon ko nilabas lahat.

I dialed the number of my bestfriend, Natalie.

"Hello?"

"Nats. Ang sakit sakit. *sniff*"

"Mel? What happened?! Where are you?!"

"Nandito ako sa sasakyan ko. Nats *sniff* I need you *sniff* ang sakit sakit."

"Mel! Hintayin mo ako! Papunta na ako! Don't do anything stupid."

"I won't." Sabi ko and ended the call.

Yan ang mahal kop sa bestfriend ko eh. Kahit napakabusy niya sa modelling niya. If she knows that I need her, pupunta agad siya.

After a few minutes I saw her na papaunta na sa car ko. I unlocked the door of the passenger's seat and she went in.

"Is it about Lee and Ashley?"

"Wait...Pano mo alam."

"Sigh...Bes...Pumunta si Lee kanina sa classroom namin and picked up Ashley."

"Bes...He broke up with me."

I hugged Natalie and cried like a fool.

Okay lang sana kung kami kami lang ang nakakaalam about sa break up pero pinamukha pa niya talaga na pinalitan niya ako.

Such a butthole!

I cried for a while when Natalie broke the silence.

"Wanna get wasted?"

"What?"

"Forget him even just for tonight. Get drunk."

I got up and fixed my hair that was stuck to my face and wiped my tears.
