Friends: Please Stop You're Making It Worse

So a few days ago was one of my closest friend's birthday party thing. Since we've known each other since we were in 1st grade (we're going to the 10th grade) she knows how antisocial and shy I am.

That being said instead of just inviting people I know, she invites people I don't know. I knew some people, but me not knowing just one person means I'm flipping out. So she invites this single dude who just went through a breakup.

Now, the only physical contact I've ever had with a male who is a non family member or gay was holding hands, and he did it because it was part of a joke he was making; and when that happened I almost had a panic attack.  So yeah, haven't really had any contact with a guy.

So I was just chilling in her room on my phone and alone. After a few minutes of being antisocial, my friend asked me to go in the living room and socialize. After some "unagreements" with each other, she proceeded to pick me up off her bed and carry me in there into the room without my consent.

I began to thrash in her arms. Keep in mind that she's a lot shorter than me (and I'm pretty short myself (around 5'4)) and she sets me in the middle of the room. Luckily it was just us, the single dude, and my friend's dad. So she says, "Dang Krista, (my name's Krista btw) you've gotten heavier."

Her dad didn't know that what he said was different than what he meant. He probably meant "She's bigger than she used to be." But instead he said "She's thicker than she used to be." I see her trying not to laugh as I sit down and just watch tv, but I feel the guy staring at me. It gets worse as the night continues on.

So later she tells me that she's trying to hook us up and I was not having it. My other "friends" were joking around and making jokes about this dude and me. I left the room and one by one they joined me in her room. It ended up with my friend pushing him on the bed beside me and in attempting to get away I layed between her bed and the wall while holding a stuffed dog above my face while they were making jokes and stuff.

While everyone was laughing and having a good time I was dying and having a small panic attack. Oh god I'm awkward. He wouldn't stop staring at me for the rest of the night and I was just there and....uh. Face palms, just....face palms. Why am I like this? Why are my friends like this? Ehhhhhhhhh.......
