Everyone was in the lounge room. They all were sitting down except for Keith and was Coran standing up.
"I wish Shiro were here to tell us how to go on without him," Lance commented. "Allura, when we came here, you told me I would fly the Green Lion, and I thought there was no way. But then, I found it and I flew it. And then, Hunk flew the Yellow Lion, and he's not even a pilot. In fact, you told everyone who would pilot which lion," Pidge stated. "Yeah, how did you do that? Did we ever find out how you did that? Can you do that now?" Hunk pleaded, looking at Allura.
"Sadly, no. When you arrived at the Castle, I immediately recognized the special qualities in each of you," Allura answered, "But I don't know how to search the entire universe for a new paladin." "Keith, you piloted the Black Lion when you had to save Shiro. Perhaps you're the one," Coran assumed.
I don't know if I should tell everybody that Shiro asked me to be leader... before he even asked Keith.
"Keith would be the worst leader of Voltron," Lance barked. "Yeah, we all have our thing," Pidge agreed, she then started pointing at us," Keith's the loner."
"I'm the brain." Pidge pointed her thumb at herself.
"Hunk's the nice one." Hunk smiled at him being the nice one.
"Olivia's the powerful strategist." Olivia put her hands together with her fingers apart and put it close to her chin.
"Allura's the decision maker." Allura blushed and looked to the side.
"Coran's the wise old guy." He played with his mustache and looked proud.
"And Lance is the goofball." Lance smiled but didn't hear what she said.
"Mm-hmm. Yeah, exactly. Totally right Wait a minute... I'm not a goofball!" Lance argued, he crossed his arms, "I'm like the cool ninja sharpshooter." Keith scoffed, "Are you joking?" "I'm being completely serious when I say, I do not want you to lead me anywhere," Lance said. "I don't want to be the leader! That's just what Shiro wanted!" Keith snapped, realizing what he said he looked down. "What are you talking about?" Hunk asked. "Nothing," Keith answered. "Shiro wanted you to be his successor, didn't he?" Pidge said. "Well, I never heard Shiro say that, and how convenient that you're bringing it up now, when Shiro is gone," Lance argued.
"Well g-" Olivia was going to tell the others that Shiro wanted her to be the leader, but she got cut off. "You want the job so badly, you can have it," Keith growled. "Now, now, hang on. I've called the head from the very beginning," Hunk called dibs. "What about me? I picked up on the radio waves that led us to Voltron in the first place," Pidge called too. "Hold your gazurgas, everyone! It's not our decision to make. We must allow the lion to decide," Coran spoke.
Allura agreed, "Coran is right. We must all present ourselves to the Black Lion to see who will bear this glorious burden." "What? You, Princess? My father created Voltron. How can I allow others to risk their lives in battle and not be prepared to do so myself? I must try."
