Bambie835 use smoke strats 😷🤕

Jack's pov
I woke to the sound of something breaking. I groaned and opened my tired eyes just as a burst of smoke filled the room. I began to cough as I tried to wave the smoke from my face. I felt a tight grip wrap around my arm and tug me out of bed.

I assumed it was Mark and let the strong grip pull me from the room as I squeezed my eyes shut and tried to get the smoke out of my lungs. I ran into a wall bit an opening was in the wall. A window? I guessed it was the fastest way away from the smoke.

As soon as I could see again my heart dropped. The person who had pulled me from the smoke wasn’t Mark but him. He was wearing a smoke mask that he must have used so he wasn’t affected by the smoke. That meant he must have been the one who through the smoke to begin with.

I tried to scream, call out for help, anything! But nothing left my lips as I stared up at the male with horror. I got to see his angered face before he smashed something against my head and everything went dark.

I woke feeling dizzy and pain spreading throughout my head. I forced my eyes open to see I was in a dark room but I could still see things clearly. I looked around and saw a figure on the other side of the room. I squinted my eyes at the figure slouched against the wall in front of me. I didn't recognise the person.

They stirred and let out a small groan. I froze up and hoped they wouldn't see me but their eyes opened and immediately locked with mine. I sucked in a breath of air as they squinted at me as if trying to figure out who I was.

"Jack?" A familiar voice asked. I felt everything relax at the voice and my fear was replaced with confusion.

I tilted my head in a questioning look. Cry? I signed. I'd never seen him without his mask before and that's probably why I didn't recognise him.

"Yeah. Wait...," he paused as he reached up to his face and found his mask gone. Now it was his turn to panic as he looked around, only now realising where we were. His gaze returned to me and I saw the panic in his light blue eyes.

"Jack. Do you remember what happened last night?" He asked. I looked down as I tried to remember. Mark's house, the smoke, him. I looked back at him with teary eyes as my panic returned and I began to find it hard to breath.

He shuffled over to me a quietly soothed me, trying to keep his voice down since we might not be alone where ever we are. I was able to calm down enough that my shallow breaths were quiet enough as to not alert anyone but it didn't matter, a door opened above us.

We stared into each others eyes as footsteps echoed upstairs and two voices reached us. But it sounded like there was too many footsteps for two people. We heard them approach the door that lead into our room and pushed our bodies to the far side, trying to get as far away from them as possible.

The door opened and a bright light shone through, making us look away and cover our faces. The footsteps came closer and I was pulled into the air by my arm. I kept my eyes down, not wanting to do anything that angered the male holding me.

"This one is pretty fun to play with. He can scream like a bitch baby if you hit the right spot," his voice came. I felt tears form in my drained eyes as my feet dangled inches away from the ground.

"Yeah, and this one hates it when you look directly at him. It's fun making him stare at you when you're having fun," the other make said. Both of them had put in a piece to my pain but he had hurt me the most. The one holding me away from safety.

"Ah I see. So that's why he wears a mask and why he is silent," a familiar voice said. A voice that I used to listen to and find some comfort from. The voice that used to calm me when I was in a state of panic.

I looked up to see the grey cloth and familiar symbol of someone I thought was a friend. Ohm stood with his arms crossed and a small smirk on his lips. I felt my heart shatter and darkness take its place. I felt betrayed and hurt.

"So, which one do you want?" He asked, dropping me to the stone floor. I let myself fall, too weak to deal with myself.

"Actually, I was hoping I could get both. I'll pay full price for them and make sure they are put to good use," Ohm said, his voice full of mystery.

"Hmm. What do you think Russ?" He asked in thought. Were they... selling us to Ohm?

"You'll have to pay us extra. We will need to buy more supplies to find new pets if you take both," Russ said, a smirk noticeable in his voice.

"Deal," Ohm said. The others fell silent. They must not have been expecting Ohm to agree to their offer.

"Fine, but we need it all in cash. $1,000,000," He said. I glanced over at Cry with shock. He was paying one Million dollars for us? He must really want us if he was willing to pay that much.

"I'll see you at midnight at the meeting place then. I have some money to get," Ohm said before leaving.

"At least we have a few more hours to spend with our little kittens," he said with an evil lust in his voice. I glanced at Cry with fear before I was pulled to my feet and dragged away from him...
