subtly, yet closer

his fingers lingered on my cheeks for a while longer before he finally released his hold on them. it felt as if the smoke from taeyong's cigarette would'nt have filled my lungs up half as bad as his own simple gestures. my heart was caught in my throat yet again as i tried my absolute hardest to keep my eye contact on the tile floor of the immaculate coffee shop.

but that didn't last long as taeyong chuckled to himself using his index finger to lift my chin up, practically asking me to go swimming around and diving deep into those eyes.

"look at me, baby."

his terms of endearment were meaningless, but nonetheless i was immediately flustered. i finally peered into his own eyes, watching as his face shifted into the purest smile before pinching my cheeks in between his thumb and index finger. i continued to remain speechless as he removed his warm hands chuckling lightly.

"are you ready to go?"

i choked out a simple 'yes' as we both scooted out of our seats, hearing the screech of the legs against tile thrice. his hand crept up onto the curve of my back as he lightly guided me out of the beautiful coffee shop before saying a quick thank you to the teenager named mark.

mark just waved us off with a mischievous smile as he continued snapping his fingers to the beat of his music. the door had shut behind us as we stepped outside into the chilly, morning air. i quietly inhaled the scent of fresh, morning breeze, closing my eyes in complete bliss until a presence could be felt in front of me. my eyes popped open on instinct to see taeyong's slim fingers in front of my body once more.

"are you ready to go?"

and without another word i furiously nodded, quickly slipping my fingers inbetween his own feeling the electrifying friction between our fingers. the apples of my cheeks were on fire at his touch as we walked hand in hand to the planetarium. we didn't talk much the majority of the walk, but it baffled me at how simple of a task like walking could make my adoration for him grow.

the planetarium door had surrounded both of us in a gust of cool, crisp air as we stepped inside. being here with taeyong in his sanctuary was an ethereal feeling; all the good inside of him was beginning to tip and overflow with what was seen to be trust.

he trusted her and she trusted him.

the grip in our hands released as i began to become more and more engrossed in this brand new world. the planetarium was calm, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. there were those stars, planets, and constellations i constantly saw in his eyes, but still in this exciting world, the different aspects of space could never be captured as well as in your own eyes.

i continued to explore the different exhibits with zodiac signs and different planets. you even told me your star sign, you were a cancer and the definition of you seemed to be spot on from what i could grasp. we continued to skip from exhibit to exhibit, myself becoming completely immersed in the images, replicas, statues, and new information. my heart was bursting with joy being here, i felt warm.

author's note: i am sorry for a later update. i started sophomore year and i am already swamped with homework. i'm sorry if this isn't a very good chapter but i will try to update all of my books during the year as much as possible. but anyways it's 12:15 am and i listened to michael jackson while writing this and i am scared for a small oral presentation in english tomorrow. have a good day/night i love you all!
