"This is ridiculous." you huffed as you fidgeted with the obnoxiously pink dress.

"You mean the fact that Sam is staying out of this or that you are going to be my date on the wedding?" Dean asked casually as a beeping sound was heard, no wonder he was absentminded playing with his phone as he waited for you to get done.

"I mean the fact that I let you help me with this." you grumbled before poking your head through the curtain "But yeah being your date too."

Dean gave you a look "I was kidding you know." he huffed and you raised your eyebrows.

"Oh really?" you shrugged "Well, I wasn't." you grinned as he rolled his eyes.

You giggled to yourself because you knew deep down that it was far from the truth as well. You were excited to be able to go to the wedding with Dean. You only wished it didn't have to be for a case and the bride to be in danger for you to get this chance. Sam was busy with something else so he couldn't come with you on this, so you and Dean were the only ones to deal with it. Not that you minded to get some alone time with Dean, although the chances of you embarrassingyourself in front of you hunting partner-crush were even higher.

"Are you getting done or what?" Dean huffed and you rolled your eyes as you zipped the dress up. You had tried so many yet none of them was good enough, and you would have gotten done by done and moved on if it wasn't for Dean being a know-it-all and picking dresses he obviously thought would be good. He was definitely wrong because he ended up dismissing even the ones he had chosen himself.

"Alright-" you pushed the curtain and stepped forward "What do you think about this?"

"Hm" his eyes roamed your form for a minute as he leaned forward "It is good enough... if you're going to Barbie's wedding. Otherwise terrible." he shook his head with a face and you rolled your eyes.

"If you hated these dresses so much, then why did you pick them in the first place?" you groaned, going back to changing.

"Well, you asked for my help didn't you?"

"Yeah, well I didn't exactly have this in mind." you rolled your eyes "You men have it so much easier anyway. Just a suit and a tie and you're ready to go."

"That's not easy either, you know." he mumbled, shuffling in his seat and you rolled your eyes.

"Yeah whatever you say. Just remind me to not take you with me next time I go shopping." you huffed as you fidgeted with the next dress. Dean had turned down even the dresses you had chosen yourself so you really hope this last one would do it.

He'd call them either too tight or too short, and some were both. Either they were too classy or too revealing and the way he said he didn't want any other man's attention on you made the butterflies in your stomach go wild but- you just pushed it away. He just had to be joking... although him saying he wanted you to be all his came out pretty serious.

"Sure thing, sweetheart." you could hear the smirk in his voice.

"Alright" you sighed, smoothing down the dress "This is actually the last one so, either you like it or I am coming wearing jeans and a flannel."

"Just come out (Y/n)." Dean chuckled and you took a deep breath in. It was a little revealing, you couldn't deny that, but it was still classy and you were sure Dean wouldn't be able to find something bad to say about it.

"Here we go." you breathed out as you finally came into view. Dean's smile immediately fell and his back straightened as his eyebrows shot up. His mouth fell open as he stared at you practically wide-eyed. You looked down at yourself, feeling a little self-conscious. The dress had a deep v-neck and it fell loosely over your hips, reaching to the floor. It didn't have much fabric, except for a string of lace running over your spine up to your neck and attaching to the front part where it turned to regular black fabric.
