Chapter one

Me: HELLO! And welcome to-
Everyone: Nalu: The Playboy's Ex!
Me: I am joined by Mira-
Mira: OHAYO!
Me: and Nalu-
Nalu: OHAYO!
Me: so I originally made this story....AND THEN IT WAS DELETED!
Mira: disgraceful!
Me: so that's why it's taken so long to get it out...but it's here so....
Everyone: let's start!

Always in Lucy p.o.v unless I say otherwise.

I stretch my arms as I slowly sit up. I look around my room one last time. It seems so empty now that everything is packed in my bags. The white walls, once covered in photos of my friends, are now bare. The other bed, once occupied by my roommate, now empty. I sigh before standing up. I sling my rucksack over by back, grab my suitcase handle and grab my other bag. I walk to the door, look behind me one last time before walking out.

I open the back door of my light blue Lexus (me: first car that came to mind, don't judge) and throw my bags in. I then put my suitcase in the boot and climb into the drivers seat. I look at the picture of Natsu near the steering wheel before turning the key and pushing down on the pedal.

Three hours of driving pass and I finally arrive home. The place I spent most of my final year at high school. I sigh once more before climbing out of my car and walking to the front door. Two knocks and the door opens.
"Lucy! You're home!" Grandeeny exclaims. "Come in." I walk inside, smiling at her.

"How was the journey?" She asks.
"Not too bad, just long and tiresome." I reply. I look around. Not much has changed.
"You look like you could use a rest, go sit down in the living room, I'll bring you something to eat."she says.
"Thanks." I thank her before heading into the living room. Nothing's changed. There are pictures of prom above the fireplace. A tear comes to my eye. Why did that happen between us?

Flashback

I've only been at uni for a couple of weeks but it's exciting! So many new people! And they even have a library here! I wish I could see my friends more though... everyone's been so caught up with their studies that we haven't talked in ages. We used to go on massive group calls with everyone...but eventually....they stopped... I still have Natsu though!

End of flashback

I wipe the tear from my eye, I'll get to see everyone again! Grandeeny soon walks in with a plate full of biscuits. She places it on the coffee table and sits beside me.
"Is Wendy home?" I ask.
"No, she's at school." Grandeeny replies. I take a biscuit and put I in my mouth. "So, how was uni?"
"It was ok." I reply. "Great at first..but then....we all grew distant...."
"Don't worry Lucy, you'll be able to see them again." She says smiling.
"I know, and I can't wait!" I say, smiling.

I hear the front door open and a familiar voice.
"I'm home!" The voice yells. My heart clenches. Why'd he have to be back so soon?
"Hey Natsu!" Grandeeny yells. "We're in the living room!" Soon Natsu walks in and I look away. I can't look at him right now...
"Oh Lucy, you're here." Natsu says.
"Yes, yes I am." I reply.
"Uh...I think I'm going to go start dinner. Wendy should be home in a minute." Grandeeny says and leaves for the kitchen.

Natsu sits on the sofa but at the opposite end to which I'm sitting.
"Look Luce...." Natsu starts.
"Don't call me Luce." I say, trying to hide my pain.
"I didn't want to..." he says.
"And yet you did." I reply.
"Lucy...please, hear me out." Natsu pleads. I steel my heart against him.
"You hurt me Natsu." I say. "That's all I need." I stand up and walk upstairs, leaving him behind. Every part of my body begged me to turn around. To run to him. To wrap my arms around him. But I can't...

I walk into my room and fall down on the bed. Suddenly my phone buzzes.

Hi Lu! Excited for tomorrow! - Levy
Yeah. Me too! - Lucy
PEOPLE ARE ALIVE! - Melody
Haha! Hi Mel. - Lucy
I KNEW YOU ALL DIDN'T DIE! - Melody
Can we please go over the plan again? - Mira
We meet at the park, we wander round, maybe go see a film, maybe shopping, get food then go home at a ridiculous time in the morning -Erza
Thank you! - Mira
Lucy...have you seen Natsu? - Juvia
Yeah... - Lucy
How'd it go? - Levy
I'll tell you all tomorrow, but now I'm exhausted and just want to sleep. - Lucy
I understand that, sleep well Lucy - Melody
Night! - everyone else.

I lock my phone and turn on my back. Memories fly back to me. Memories of Natsu and I at school. When he confessed. Our first kiss. How he was always there for me. Everyone at graduation. Everyone's parting. What happened between Natsu and I...

A tear comes to my eye...is everyone going to be the same tomorrow? How much have we all changed? Will we ever be able to have the memories we used to have?

I hear people move around downstairs. I lay there for what seems like hours. It's probably time for food but I can't move. So I close my eyes and drift off into a dreamless sleep.

Me: I would also like to quickly add, any unnecessary hate towards any of the characters will not be tolerated.
Mira: you will be blocked.
Lucy: and reported by Author-Chan.
Natsu: saying you're going to kill them because of something that happened in the story is fine.
Me: but going 'omg I hate Dave, he's such a whore, why is Dave in this story, no one likes Dave, fuck off Dave' is not acceptable.
Mira: now that that's out of the way-
Me: everyone say bye!
