Chapter Sixteen

Brianna's POV: "It's done" Andy said coming in.

I quickly got up and ran to my room, I can't handle whatever he's going to say next.

"Bri let me in"

"I'm going to Skype Avery"

"Come on, we can go get some pizza of chicken nuggets whatever you want"

"Andy you're a murderer"

"And you're an accessory to murder"

"No I'm not"

"You were here when he died and you were here while we burned the evidence"

"I can still report you"

He walked in remembering the fact that the lock was on the outside and he came over to me.

"I know you wouldn't do that"

"Andy this is going to ruin my future"

"It's going to ruin mine too"

"Why couldn't you have just reported him to the police"

"He would have gotten out within a year"

"So?"

"He would have came for revenge"

"Happy Birthday to me right?"

I watched as all the color faded from his face and he checked his phone to see the date.

"Brianna I'm....

"Don't"

"Happy Birthday" He said then he walked out.

I just sat there and stared into space. Seventeen years. Who knew on my seventeenth birthday I would witness a murder.

"Hey Brianna can I come in?"

"No"

He came in anyways and I groaned.

"WHY ARE YOU SO OBSESSED WITH ME"

"I'm....not"

"Oh yeah I forgot, you just want to get in my pants"

"Bri that's not true"

"You said it yourself"

"When?"

"On the bus, that's the whole reason you had to go home"

"I got rejected I didn't know what else to do"

"How about except the fact I said no and continue to be my friend?"

"That would have been a better decision"

"Yeah I know, that's why I said it"

He sat there in silence kind of in defeat and I got up.

"I still want to be friends but get out"

"No you're not allowed to be left alone"

"I'm going to Skype Avery"

"Brianna we all know you used to cut"

I tensed up not knowing what to do, what am I supposed to do when someone just says that.

"How..."

"When we were swimming at the hotel I saw the scars on your thighs"

"Why exactly were you looking?"

"I'll leave now"

"Um no, why were you looking there"
